At Sunrise, our Dining Room Care Manager is responsible for providing dining and table services to residents in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Sunrise Senior Living standards.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

- Serving as a role model in providing dining service to our residence
- Assisting with training team members
- Maintaining proper dining room set up
- Assisting in special events
- Monitoring appropriate checklists in support of the dining area cleanliness, readiness, standards
- Assisting in table top inventories maintenance

Qualifications:

JOB SUMMARY:
The Food Service Assistant will be responsible for dining room coverage, diet coordination and room service, as well as dishwashing in support of patients and customers. And assist in the preparation of catering meals, patient trays and complimentary carts, and all other food items.

JOB DUTIES:
1. Coordinate all menus including room service orders and using Excellian to log in and verify diet orders and changes.
2. Answer phones in response to customer/patient needs.
3. Assists with the preparation and delivery of patient trays, cafeteria food items, and catering.
4. Serve cafeteria customers and conducts money transactions accurately for payment using the cash register and Counts and calculates daily cafeteria receipts.
5. Put away and rotates stock from food trucks as soon as they arrive.
6. Stock/rotate cafeteria items, medical floor stocks and ensures overall cleanliness of cafeteria, dining room, and kitchen.
7. Strip, wash and sanitize dishes and utensils to ensure cleanliness per department standards and regulations.
8. Performs routine tasks using customer service skills, showing consideration of patients and other personnel in all service areas.
9. All other duties assigned by your manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
2. Previous work in food service preparation and dishwashing preferred.
3. Good customer service skills.
4. Basic computer skills required.
5. Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies, vision, mission and values.
6. Maintains reliable and consistent attendance.
