The Sanitarian will be responsible for maintaining and enforcing high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety throughout the building. They will conduct daily sanitization and cleanliness inspections, and facility audits to record and address any issues or violations. This includes cleanliness and sanitizing, employee practices, food handling, temperature control, proper use and handling of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals, and all recording and monitoring forms and other paperwork submission. They will train hourly staff to ensure policy and procedures are being implemented. Maintain efficiency in sanitation during peak hours. Additionally, ensures all processes of sanitation and safety to food handling equipment.
Required Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years hands-on as either a chef, cook or prep cook in a high-volume foodservice operation.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB
To keep equipment and buildings clean and sanitized according to standards established by food regulations. Work with timed effort to meet production start-up. Ability to clean the building both inside and outside, processing and packaging equipment to ensure all plant rules (work, safety, and sanitation) and Food Safety regulations are adhered to. Follow all procedures in a safe and sanitary manner, to ensure food packaging equipment is clean and maintained. Assists in production as business requires.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Keeps oils, waste, and solids out of the sewer system.
Maintains equipment and building in sanitary mode for food packaging.
Assists in production when needed.
Complete production changeovers on time without deficiencies.
Housekeeping and cleaning is a requirement.
Must be able to work independently and in a group with minimal supervision.
Attention to detail is a must.
Communicate with the Supervisor on a daily basis.

Job Summary

The Sanitarian will be responsible for maintaining and enforcing high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety throughout the building. Summary: Cuts delicatessen meats, vegetables and cheeses with slicing machine, knives or other cutters. Prepares and serves sandwiches, salads and other cold food items.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from Chef.
Prepares sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments and salads using approved production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
Stocks and replenishes deli/cold products and condiments following approved merchandising guidelines.
Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstation, stove and refrigerator.
Stores food in designated areas following HACCP standard wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
Cleans, sanitizes and maintains counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units and floors in the preparation and serving areas.
Places meat, cheese or vegetables on cutting board and cuts slices to designated thickness. Positions and clamps meat or cheese on carriage of slicing machine. Adjusts knob to set machine for desired thickness. Presses button to start motor that moves carriage past rotary blade that slices meats and cheeses.

Summary: Supervises, coordinates and controls the collection, removal and disposal of refuse/yard waste from commercial and residential customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Schedules and supervises the daily collection of refuse and waste.
+ Oversees associates during a specific shift.
+ Performs field inspections to ensure collection is done safely and efficiently.
+ Investigates and responds to customer complaints promptly and tactfully.
