Each employee is part of the hotel security team and is responsible for reporting any potential hazards to the management and should investigate in the absence of the manager any alleged injuries which occur on the premises. An Incident Report (for guests) or Accident Report (for employee) should be completed. Show concern and consideration for the guest, but never acknowledge responsibility. Know where gas, electric, water cut off, and breakers are located. Know location of emergency lights. Understand the relationship of complimentary service to guest satisfaction and other areas of the hotel. Pour coffee and juice when refills are needed. Provide accurate information and directions to guests. Host/hostel must be able to lift 30 pounds, bend stoop, and go up and down stairs. Employee is required to seek assistance if unable to lift or move an item over 30 pounds. Perform all duties assigned by manager. The host/hostess may be called upon to help in short-staffed areas. He/she must undergo all the screening questions before performing those job descriptions. Cashier Responsibilities Greets customers in a friendly manner as they enter the store. Provides fast and efficient service. Thanks the customer. Rings customer sales using an electronic cash register. Receives money, gives correct change. Refunds cash for returned merchandise and/or exchanges merchandise. Assist with shift change by counting money in cash drawer at the beginning and end of a shift. Uses special equipment to process specialty products, such as money orders, credit card purchases, checks and lottery sales and redemption's. Check identification for restricted sales. Checks and replenishes stock on food service supplies such as cups, lids condiments, napkins, straws and stirrers. Cleans and sanitizes all equipment used for service or stocking food service products using the three sink method. RoadTeks are responsible for controlling traffic safely through work zones using appropriate equipment and communication. They will assist a Crew Chief in setting up and managing work zones. RoadTeks will receive on-site training support. This is our entry-level position in the field. Duties and Responsibilities: Work with crew chief to safely and appropriately set up work-zones in accordance with state or local Department of Transportation and Safety policies and procedures. Read, understand and follow RoadTek Traffic Controls safety policies and crew leaders instruction. Placement of traffic control devices, signs, and markers in compliance with work zone diagrams. Maintain safety zone while directing movement of vehicular traffic through work zone using sign, hand, and flag signals. Wear and always maintain PPE. Ensure customers workers are warned of any impending work zone violation if incoming vehicle does not adhere to work zone. Follow crew leader instructions for one-way traffic when full lane closure is in force. Be aware your surroundings at all time focusing on safety. Report all safety concerns to crew chiefs and managers Ensure all safety equipment, vehicles, lights, signs and company owned property is handled in a safe careful manner. Other duties may be assigned.
