Food Runners depending on their role for the shift that day are responsible for food running and barback duties. Obtaining the ability to multi-task for long periods of time and be able to learn each position. They also support and works alongside the kitchen and Bartenders/Servers to ensure the highest level of customer service and Taproom efficiency while performing the following duties ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Work with the Expo to ensure food is being trayed correctly and going to the table in a timely matter. * Be able to read tickets and know all food items on the menu * Ensure freshness of food by prioritizing speed of delivery * Learn floor plan/table numbers and deliver food to the correct location * Refill customers' water/pop retrieve to go boxes, and napkins if they ask. Proactively assist customers with any questions or needs. * Ensure all necessary items are stocked and available (i.e. straws, plastic cups/lids, sugar/sweetener, bar napkins, coasters, silverware etc.). * Perform light cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, wiping down counters, and taking out trash and recycling, always keeping the counter clean and neat. * Maintain a safe work environment according to federal and state regulations. * Complete and sign for assigned side work during each shift. * Perform opening and closing procedures * Help maintain clean indoor/outdoor environment. * Develop and maintain a knowledge of Founders' culture, products, and the Taproom layout. Clean up broken glass immediately. * Fill ice bins around bars, observing necessary health and safety standards * Bring bus tubs of dirty dishes back to the Kitchen and proactively clear soiled dishes from the bartop * Change soda syrup as needed. * Properly rotate and change kegs as needed.
