As a Prep Cook at Slackwater, you will play a crucial role in preparing ingredients and assisting with food preparation tasks to support the kitchen team. Your responsibilities will include prepping vegetables, meats, and other ingredients, ensuring that the kitchen operates efficiently and meets high-quality standards.
This is a new Slackwater location set to open on May 5th in the Provo/Riverwoods area. If hired, you will be expected to complete five days of training the week of April 28. Training sessions will be held in the AM and PM.

Position Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils. Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition and report any malfunctions.
Follow recipes and instructions carefully to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation. Assist with adjusting recipes as needed.
Keep the prep area organized and stocked. Ensure that ingredients are labeled, dated, and stored properly to prevent spoilage.
