The Human Resources Analyst position exists to support the Human Resources department as an expert in systems, processes, and reporting; gathering and compiling project and system requirements; applying proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; and is an expert user of the various HR systems (including Dayforce and Microsoft products). This position also provides support for the Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, and Volunteer Teams in the areas of data management and reporting and the Human Resources Department in the areas of data entry tasks, budget reconciliation, and file management, as well as provides some administrative support for the Sr. Vice President of HR and the Intern Program.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
* Develops and maintains Recruitment and Volunteer data for weekly reports as requested
* Elicits, interprets, and analyzes functional, technical, and operational requirements to assure that HRIS systems meet requirements
* Provides initial analysis of problem patterns to make recommendations for process and technology improvements
* Gathers information for quarterly board reports, including, but not limited to: EEO data, Talent Acquisition productivity statistics, Learning and Development measures and volunteer impact numbers
* Is able to assist Talent Acquisition Specialists with all technical aspects of the Talent Acquisition process
* Provides support with HR technology to strengthen strategy objectives as defined by the Sr. Vice President of Human Resources
* May represent the technical interests of HR as department liaison with IT and other ministry departments or cross-functional teams
* Liaises with outside HR system vendors to communicate and resolve issues, problems as appropriate
* Manages specified HR metrics from inception, to report creation, data analysis, and presentation
* Manages the HR policy database maintenance process, updating policies to reflect appropriate changes
* Creates and maintains organizational charts for the organization
* Analyzes and reviews existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
* Functions as Administrator for selected HR technology systems and process
* Provides administrative support to both the Sr. VP of HR and the Intern Program as necessary

The Digital Print Operator position exists to operate inkjet, laser, xerographic or offset duplicating printers; RIP files or review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing. Maintains daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests. Sets up, programs and releases jobs from print queue. May adjust image position, perforations, and folds on paper. Account Representative, Donor Relations
Focus On The Family Job In Colorado Springs, CO
The Account Representative, Donor Relations position exists to develop relationships and create and implement strategies that result in significant funding support from existing donors. This position will be expected to demonstrate initiative in managing the cultivation of a donor portfolio, including major gifts solicitation, acknowledgement, stewardship, prospect identification, and on-going communication. The Donor Engagement Account Representative will be responsible for achieving annual fundraising goals of the team along with retention and prospect identification.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
* Represents Focus on the Family to donors, foundations, and planned givers. Maintains strong relationships with a portfolio of 800 donors with significant emphasis on personal communication (phone calls, correspondence, email, etc.)
* Is responsible for increasing retention and average gift size of portfolio through strategic cultivation and stewardship
* Cultivates relationships with mid-range donors, learning about their personal interests and connecting them with Focus on the Family's core mission for further engagement; is responsible for identifying and qualifying Major Donor Prospects and transitioning them to a Public Affairs Representative for additional development
* As a portfolio goal, retains and lifts donor giving through (but not limited to) personal solicitation, acknowledgment, stewardship, relationship building, ongoing communication, protection of donor's data, etc.
* Maintains an accurate record of donor communication and service in customer relationship management tool
* Maintains an in depth understanding of the ministry's core competencies and programs
* Participates in departmental meetings, strategic planning, and fundraising discussions within the Donor Engagement department
* Builds relationships, communicates, and connects effectively with both internal and external relationships
* Fosters and builds relationships with caseload donors at internal events held on the Focus campus i.e., Insider Briefings
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
* Performs other duties, including but not limited to duties as assigned, some of which may include the development and creation of a variety of copyrightable works (e.g., printed pieces, photography, voice work, video, music, etc.) for distribution in all media and formats (such as television, radio, internet, DVD and digital) on a world-wide basis, all of which will be for the benefit of Focus on the Family

The Facilities Operations Specialist III position exists to own work order system administration, is essential in property management, provides high level issue response and unites the team around priorities. Requires a strong understanding of office and workplace safety management. The right fit in this position is someone who has a strong understanding and experience in building systems, works both at a high level as well as in the details, and is ready to embrace both the relational and technology challenges. The Facilities Administration Specialist III has a mastery of a work order systems, process flow, prioritization, and can easily navigate and train the technical aspects of building system controls. Requires minimal supervision and refers questionable matters to Manager.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Work Order and Service Administration:
* Primarily liaison for task and project needs of the ministry, tenants, and the Facilities staff
* Administrator of the work order system for communication, tracking, and measurements to ensure all work is complete to satisfaction and in a timely manner
* Gathers requirements for all ministry and tenant work requests from tasks to projects
* Ensures requirements are clearly communicated to management, technicians and/or contractors to ensure accurate completion of projects
* Punch-list staff and tenant work requests ensuring that the ministry and tenants receive a quality product
* Takes leadership role in construction and workplace safety program
* Maintains OSHA and safety Certifications as needed for the role
* Builds and maintains safety, inspection, and preventative maintenance calendars in work order system and Outlook. Communicates timelines, results, and recommendations to appropriate leadership
* Partners with leadership on work order prioritization to improve customer service and team efficiency
* Uses work order system to manage inventory, assets, reorder points, and track spending costs by building and tenant
* Owns fixed assets tracking, equipment maintenance schedules, and recommends repair/replacement schedules for clear actionable reporting and decision making
* Builds a staff network across the ministry and all tenants who are trained in the work order system. Ensures maintenance needs are completed in a timely manner and captured in the work order system
* Develops an ongoing review cycle of all contractors to support management. Ensures quality contractors and contracts for all trades
* Actively pursues a partnership with the purchasing team to ensure ministry policies are followed while ensuring that the contractor and work accomplished represent the required performance and quality
* Is responsible to submit purchase requisitions and maintain an organized file of vendor quotes and contracts
* Presents scope and work requirements to Facilities manager and/or supervisor. Ensures that all completed work is in accordance with the scope and work requirements prior to paying contractors Participates with Security on accurate campus key inventory and map while ensuring that the work order key distribution tables are up to date
Tenant / Property Management:
* Primary point of contact for all on-site tenants for any service needs or contract questions
* Operates as Tenant Services Specialist by evaluating monthly projects and services. Prepares and provides monthly tenant billing to Finance or as needed. Tracks and reconciles monthly expenses and present billing quarterly to tenants
* Tracks all tenant direct and tenant share (NNN) expenses. Monthly and in a timely manner provides invoicing detail to the accounting team
* Creates regular tenant informational emails as well as communicating any campus or building related news
* Evaluates contracts and amendments. Develops and maintains an understanding of contract changes and the implications of monthly charges and service levels for each tenant
Tier 1 Service Response:
* Is responsible for level 1 diagnostic support for HVAC, Lighting, Irrigation, and Fire systems. Able to perform computer-based adjustments
* Speaks into IoT strategy and settings to meet comfort, safety, and cost goals
* Reviews all work requests in a timely manner from both staff or tenants and provide the initial response for any adjustments needed in the building controls
* Highly proficient in Building Automation Systems, setting parameters, contributing to strategy, managing impact to utilities, and giving direct vendor feedback on changes needed in programming

The Associate Gift Planning Officer position is part of the Planned Giving department, which functions as a service department to the fundraising segments within Focus on the Family and to our donors directly. This position exists to assist the Gift Planning Officer with the donor customer service and the processing and cataloging of planned gifts, namely estate gifts that come to us through bequests. Additionally, this position must have a high-level understanding of other planned gifts and financial planning concepts to assist and educate donors by answering questions and by being a resource to them. These activities involve extensive contact with both donors and industry professionals that require considerable initiative and independent judgment daily with only general direction from the Gift Planning Officer. The role consists of roughly 10% Project Coordinating, 40% Customer Service and 50% administrative tasks related to the previous two categories.

The Focus on the Family Planned Giving department oversees four major gift categories. This position will assist the Gift Planning Officer in the following ways:
Wills & Bequests:
* Is a proactive Focus on the Family advocate encouraging appropriate donors to add us to their estate plan
* Receives and reviews all estate documents to ensure that due diligence is completed in the process of closing estate gifts
* Works with the Gift Planning Officer on the marketing strategy and content for bequest campaigns

* Updates supervisor's calendar, ensuring optimum time management; resolves any questions concerning appointments

* Oversees flow of communications via information logging, routing, and direct personal contact, including routing of change of status requests for personnel, etc., through appropriate signature routes

* Supports Parenting special projects. Is responsible for implementing and executing all details of special projects, keeps impeccable and detailed records to ensure goals and objectives are met, and fills out necessary forms to get projects completed
* Establishes and maintains processes to manage multiple projects
* Researches information needed for various projects
* Receives inquiries for speaking engagements and manages details for VP of Parenting. Provides follow up with each speaking engagement
* Constructs detailed project implementation plans and identify schedulesto keep marriage special projects on schedule and achieve milestones
* Analyzes project progress and, when necessary, adapts scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements
* Reports project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed-escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
* Prepares expense statements, being certain that all receipts are attached, allowable expenses are claimed, and that the total is correct
* Orders and inventories forms, benevolent resources, and office supplies; maintains machine supplies

The Sustainer Engagement Specialist position exists to engage constituents through outbound calling to increase retention and reduce cancellation for monthly pledge programs. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: * Cold-calls people in a warm and winsome way with the ability to build new relationships or win people back and regain their business
* Cold-calls people from lists provided from marketing, thanking sustainers for their generous giving to the ministry
* Contacts sustainers, from lists provided from marketing, whose credit cards have declined and attempts to have credit card information updated for continued giving
* Maximizes calling time to retain business
* Is comfortable with computer and learning/working in multiple computer systems/software
* Responds with independent discernment to outbound (and potentially inbound) phone contacts and written contacts
* Offers a heart of prayer to each constituent, always providing kingdom class service
* Retains and lifts sustainer giving through (but not limited to) personal solicitation, acknowledgment, stewardship, relationship building, ongoing communication, protection of sustainer's data, etc.
