Brian Strzempkowski: Continue to read and learn about the aviation industry to help understand how current events impact all stakeholders. Understanding how the various segments of the industry interact with each other will highlight future opportunities in your career. The aviation industry is constantly evolving, and you have to keep up with it.
What Fleet Manager skills would you recommend for someone trying to advance their career?
Brian Strzempkowski: Computer analytic skills, AI, and an understanding of new technology are going to be critically important because the industry continuously tries to become more efficient, while also maintaining a high level of safety.
What will help Fleet Managers increase their earning potential?
Brian Strzempkowski: The aviation industry is huge, and being knowledgeable about multiple parts of the industry is critical for future success. While you may strive to attain one particular career path, do not neglect other opportunities to learn and grow your knowledge. The more segments of the industry you can plug into, the more sought after you will be.
