They want someone that will generate new business from within existing client relationships, client referrals, COI network, and their own personal COI network. You will have a dedicated portfolio manager that you work with collaboratively that will conduct investment picking and support, a client service associate for administrative duties such as moving money and RMDs, and if needed, a highly experienced financial planning team that can help you with complex financial planning needs.

To become a financial advisor, you must obtain the following licenses: Life/Accident & Health Certifications, Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), and Series 6, 7, and 63. Northwestern Mutual provides pre-payment/reimbursement* for course tuition fees and books.
