CNC Field Service Technician - This role requires 100% travel.
Perform a wide variety of tasks associated with servicing, repairing, or operation of most CNC machine tools. Use precision test equipment to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical and electrical problems-advanced operation of CNC controls from different manufacturers. Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuitry to component level. Perform a variety of advanced specialized machine tool repair processes.
Responsibilities:
Dismantle and prepare machines for shipment
Level and alignment of machines.
Troubleshoot and repair of major machine tool problems.
Disassemble, repair, and rebuild machine tool sub-assemblies and assemblies.
Organize, tag, and mark components for future assembly.
Identify, repair, or replace damaged components.
First-time power-up and troubleshooting of machines.
Servo system tuning.
Report activities and expenses timely and accurately
Train other employees for advancement
Train customers on the operation of CNC control systems.
Advanced troubleshooting and repair of electronic circuitry.
Communicate with customers, vendors, OEM, and KRC personnel.
Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized.
Travel to customer's facilities often and on short notice
Work with minimal supervision.

Required Skills:
Associate's degree in electronic engineering or related field of study--experience may be substituted for education.
3 or more years of experience in machine tool field service.
Advanced machine tool knowledge and terminology.
Complete knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
Full understanding of multiple machine tool specifications and advanced knowledge of test equipment.
Mechanical hand tools and toolbox.

Computer Field Technician Position
doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. To be successful in this position,
you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware.
Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.
Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be comfortable with daily local travel

What You Will Be Doing:
As a Heavy Equipment Field Service Diesel Technician, you will be diagnosing, troubleshooting, and performing standard mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs on customer's equipment in the field. Technicians furnish their own tools, are able to operate industry associated heavy equipment, and complete all assigned work in an accurate and timely manner.
Primary Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical deficiencies on heavy equipment diesel engines and components. Source and order parts as needed.
Determine extent of necessary repairs including identifying major powertrain overhaul needs and prepare orders for required services.
Proper use of diagnostic equipment.
Repair and/or replace all components of diesel engines hydraulic systems, air conditioning systems, suspension systems, drive trains, electrical systems, steering, braking, material handling, and operator comfort systems.
Perform welding and brazing, fabricate and modify parts, equipment, miscellaneous structures and attachments.
Complete all work orders (including warranty information) and time sheets in a legible, accurate, and timely manner.
Operate equipment and vehicles with possession of all necessary licenses and certificates.
Perform all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures.
Maintain service vehicle inspection records, daily inspections and driver logs as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
Must keep truck and equipment clean and presenting the best impression possible to the public.

1. Knowledge of principles, practices, tools and materials used in one or more building trades, i.e., carpentry, painting, plumbing, masonry, heating, or electrical trades.
2. Skill in use and care of common hand and power tools used in building and equipment maintenance and construction work.
3. Ability to perform minor maintenance and repairs in one or more trades.
4. Ability to supervise and act as lead worker for lower-level employees.
5. Ability to clearly communicate ideas and instructions orally and in written form.
6. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
7. Ability to work at elevated heights.
8. Ability to perform tasks requiring moderately heavy manual work.
9. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, residents and the general public.
10. Ability to trouble-shoot general maintenance problems.
Minimum Education, Training, and/or Experience
Graduation from an accredited high school and a minimum of two years' experience performing general maintenance duties at a multifamily rental property; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
Physical Requirements
1. Ability to operate a variety of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing equipment, tools, and machines.
2. Ability to work/inspect in wet, damp, hot, cold, confined, or dusty places.
3. Ability to climb ladders or enter crawl spaces in order to gain access to work areas.
4. Ability to work while standing for extended periods of time.
5. Ability to handle ranges and refrigerators using appliance hand trucks.
6. Ability to move or carry objects up to 60 pounds, including lifting from the ground to overhead.
7. Ability to move or carry objects in excess of 60 pounds with the assistance of a hand truck or additional persons.
Special Requirements
1. Possession of a valid State Class I motor vehicle operator's license.
2. Must be insurable by Authority's Fleet insurance carrier.
