Under the direction of the Facility Manager, this position requires extensive hands-on analysis, maintenance and troubleshooting of our 24x7 facility operations within Aligned Data Center. Work includes installation, repair, and maintenance of critical and non-critical mechanical and/or electrical machinery and controls located in the interior and exterior of building.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (to include, but not limited to):
Maintains, monitors, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
Mechanical areas to include operation and maintenance of multiple components within the HVAC system, plumbing installation/maintenance, generator operations, fire detection and suppression, life safety, temperature control systems, building management systems, and digital systems (including fire alarm, duress, card access, CCTV).
Electrical responsibilities include plan, implement, coordinate and supervision of all electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs for a critical facilities environment. Ensure conformance with all Change control development, approvals and execution.
Scheduling, development and quality assurance for all preventive maintenance, contracted maintenance, general maintenance.
Routinely performs all work in strict accordance with governing MOP/SOP/ERP procedures, and maintenance work instructions.
Operates and monitors critical and non-critical system equipment and components. Oversees work efforts (including 3rd party contractors) for safe and compliant operation, maintenance (corrective and preventive), and modification of critical equipment. Disables and enables fire alarm control panels and systems.
Receive and execute work orders for preventative and corrective maintenance on critical systems and building physical structure. Consult with Facility Manager or Lead CFT to order necessary materials to complete all maintenance and perform necessary work. Finalize work orders by completing necessary documentation in the computerized maintenance management system.
Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns.
Monitors building operations and tours properties periodically during scheduled shift.
Receives work order for Preventative and Corrective maintenance on electrical systems and building physical structure. Consult with supervisors and staff as appropriate to identify and order necessary materials to complete all maintenance and perform necessary work. Finalize work orders by completing necessary documentation.
Understand the engineering design and operational aspect of all electrical systems.
Evaluate, assign and monitor the safe work responsibilities and safety procedures capabilities of employees and contractors.
Respond quickly to emergency situations, develop and communicate and improve ADC's processes to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma and minimum 3-5 years' experience in electrical or mechanical critical facilities support; or 7+ years' experience as HVAC or mechanical/electrical technician

The **Electromechanical Technician** provides day-to-day electrical and mechanical support for large industrial machines in our manufacturing facility. This includes performing scheduled Preventative Maintenance, responding to down equipment by troubleshooting and making necessary repairs and completing of scheduled work orders. **The individual selected for this role will be assigned to Shift 25 (Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Alternating Wednesdays from 6:45AM to 7PM), with a potential for overtime.**
+ Troubleshoot and maintain the electrical-mechanical machines in the manufacturing facility.
+ Perform changeover activities on large mechanical equipment.
+ Coordinate and work with other technicians in the daily support of serving and repairing manufacturing equipment.
+ Documents actions, parts, and time-usage to work orders.
+ Identifies, advises, and implements safety improvements.
+ Ability to learn production equipment processes and operations to aid in machine troubleshooting and operation support.
+ Performs basic troubleshooting for electrical problems with single phase and 3 phase motors, wiring, and controls.
+ Decipher information from equipment manuals and schematics to troubleshoot various types of equipment malfunctions.
+ Perform evaluations of new technologies with potential application as a new process or as a modification to existing equipment.
+ Assist engineers, production managers, technologists, and leads in assessing the impact of equipment malfunction.

+ Must have a High School Diploma.
+ An associate degree in Electronics, or an Electromechanical Technician or Industrial Mechanic certificate is preferred.
+ Must have 2-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, high-speed preferred.
+ Must have in-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
+ Must have demonstrated experience in maintaining large industrial machines.
+ Must have excellent troubleshooting skills.
+ Must have the ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.

+ Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations is a plus.

* Must be able to travel to customer locations within the U.S. and internationally to manage and facilitate the successful installation, implementation and operation of systems as defined for each independent customer account.
* Responsible for installation of Navigation Aid products and systems (including ILS, DME, VOR, TACAN) produced by the organization and sold to U.S. and International military and commercial customers in compliance with all required specifications. In addition to installation activities, this position will also support Flight Check, perform On-the-Job training and assist with resolving any after-sales field issues related to equipment performance.
* Responsible for product testing (Production Acceptance or Factory Acceptance Test), troubleshooting and repair of systems within the factory when not deployed in the field.
* The Field Service Engineer will work directly with construction prime contractors as well as airport authorities and users to ensure the proper installation and operation of the systems as designated for the intended customer, working individually or as part of a team which may include contractor and sub-contractors.
* Provide ongoing technical support to assist customers after installation through email and phone communications to diagnose and resolve reported technical issues.
* Interface with engineering, customer service and program teams to provide site specific detail and feedback on improvements. Promote an optimal safety culture.
Minimum Qualifications
* Must be a US Person as defined in applicable law. Must be a U.S. Person as defined in applicable law, or otherwise authorized or eligible for authorization, to access to hardware, software, technology or technical data controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
* Prior hand's-on experience (at least 3-5+ years) in installing Navigation Aid products and systems (including ILS, DME, VOR, TACAN) or similar aviation related electronics systems.
* Possess analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to apply logic and applied theory to resolve problems, and have the patience to find resolutions to complex issue.
* Experience managing multiple projects in a deadline driven environment. Experience providing on-the-job training to customers, as well as internal junior field service engineers and technicians.
* Ability to adapt to changing requirements and to track and report status on set schedules.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 5-8+ years of relevant work experience, or Master's degree in field with 4+ years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination for education and experience including FAA / Military experience in lieu of civil education. Emphasis in radio / RF is a definite plus.
Special Position Requirements
* Schedule: In Thales Facilities - Standard 5-day/40 hour workweek -or- 9/80 Alternate Work Schedule available with flexible start/stop times dependent upon assignment volume. On travel at customer site - hours defined by individual site manager.

At Ervin Cable Construction, as a Fiber Splicer, you'll complete the process of fusing optical fibers, to maintain our telecommunication networks.Your splicing work is essential for keeping strong and reliable connections, ensuring data travels seamlessly through our continually growing network.
