- Communicate with customers, third party project representatives, and others to meet assigned project requirements for safety, quality, budget, and schedule while ensuring regional needs or requirements are built into processes, work instructions or templates globally.
- Travel to customer locations along with Team Lead, Account Managers or Senior Engineer, as necessary, in order to perform pre-sale activities including, site surveys, customer meetings, and other engineering activities.
- Work to proactively identify customer solutions and reinforce compliance to pre-determine standards and execution practices
- Assist in the development and scope of control strategies and software requirements.
- Configure and conduct tests on control systems and develop specifications for third party equipment and instrumentation
- Ensure ERP, Supporting Documentation, Time Allocation, and Scheduled activities are properly recorded
- Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.

Contribute to the development and implementation of general civil engineering strategies.
Prepare drawings, documents, details, schedules, or specifications using programs such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, and ArcGIS.
Serve as a liaison with clients, government and regulatory authorities, and contractors.
Provide expertise on construction sites as needed.
Interface with contractors, clients, and other ISG team members in a positive & professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree in an accredited Civil Engineering Technology program or Bachelor's Degree in an accredited Civil Engineering program.
Ability to travel to various job sites and office locations.
Able to multi-task and establish priorities.
Strong communication, report writing, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of the design standards.
Self-directed and can work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
Drafting and Engineering (75%):
Draft preliminary layouts and engineer contracted and presale projects. Prepare equipment requirements for projects. Under guidance, supervise specific project tasks and collaborate with other key personnel to ensure project requirements are met. Apply Mathematics and Technical Skills to ensure engineering designs align with EFCO's QUALITY standards and customer needs.
Training and Standards (25%):
Complete all required training, including EFCO's core value training, policies, procedures, and forming systems. Learn and apply EFCO's drafting and engineering standards. Leverage Oral Communication and Written Communication to ensure effective adoption of standards while fostering INNOVATION in engineering practices.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering is required, with up to 2 years of professional or construction experience. Familiar with Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD). The candidate must obtain EIT certification before advancing to higher engineering levels. Problem-solving, organizational skills, and PC proficiency a plus. Some travel is necessary.
