Tom Yocom | LinkedIn Your Primary Responsibilities will include * Truck Operator for truck and/or trailer mounted air-vacuum excavation systems * Operate vacuum excavation equipment, concrete saw, pneumatic pavement breaker, pneumatic tamp/compactor, and other related tools or "hand dig" in order to verify the characteristics of buried utility pipes, cables, and ducts * Perform accurate measurements with precision using various methods including laser calipers, cloth and steel tapes, EDM's, etc. * Provide underground utility flagging "designation" utilizing ground-penetrating radar, electromagnetic induction equipment, and other geophysical methods * Designate all utility line types of conductive or non-conductive materials including water, sewer, gas, electric, fiber optic, PVC, and all other underground facilities that would affect excavation of a site * Assist with maintenance of vehicle/trucks, equipment, and work sites * Exercise extreme caution near or around any utility facility and follow all applicable job site safety parameters * Perform basic survey data collection for utility designations and locations What you'll need * High School Diploma or equivalent/GED preferred * Basic computer skills and capacity to learn and understand new software * Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required.
