Modeling and Simulation Engineer
Field Engineer Job In North Kingstown, RI
At REGENT, we're on a mission to revolutionize regional transportation between coastal cities, by developing the seaglider, a first of its kind wing-in-ground-effect craft that operates a few meters off the water's surface and combines the speed of an airplane with the low operating costs of a boat. With existing battery technology, the Seaglider will travel routes up to 180 miles and up to 500 miles with next-gen batteries.
Backed by the same investors who support SpaceX, Anduril, and Boom Supersonic, our team is a group of passionate, forward-thinking individuals working together across fields like aviation, aerospace, and maritime engineering to turn zero-emission, high-speed travel into reality. It's an exciting time to be part of this game-changing journey!
Reporting to the Lead Vehicle Software Engineer, as a Modeling and Simulation Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your knowledge, experience, and creativity to build simulation environments to model the behavior of a seaglider that floats, hydrofoils, and flies in ground effect over water.
