Collaborate with engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, software, imaging) to help resolve customer problems. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with all applicable local, state, federal Electrical standards. Able and willing to travel to customer sites or other company locations worldwide (approximately 20%) REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required. Required - high voltage experience 400kV+ Must have Five (5) years of electrical electro-mechanical system design experience. Proficient level of expertise in AutoCAD. Prior experience in soldering required. Experience working with and generating BOMs within an MRP or ERP system, preferably MS Dynamics. Experience in power generation systems/generators/advanced power systems required. Previous experience troubleshooting electrical circuits. Proven expansive knowledge of electrical circuitry. Working knowledge of established electrical safety work protocols and practices and ability to read electrical diagrams. Must have prior experience working with test equipment. Must have familiarity in soft switching techniques, PCB layouts, and schematics capture. Working knowledge of CANbus, Controller Area Network (CAN) for real-time control system applications as well as a high proficiency with motor drives (Copley), PLC (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and PC based control systems.
