We are actively seeking a Project Engineer to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love!
As our Project Engineer, you'll make an impact by:
Preparing capital manufacturing project requests and serving as project manager to complete approved projects on time and within budget.
Researching, specifying, evaluating, assisting in design, and validating production and packaging manufacturing equipment as needed to improve plant quality, efficiency and output.
Leading and directing the installation of manufacturing equipment and/or processes; training production personnel on proper operating parameters for new equipment and products; maintaining records and documentation of equipment/product trials and scale up (equipment settings, process steps, and product results).
Developing project plans, identifying key milestones and required cross functional resources.
Collaborating with Production, Maintenance, Quality, IT, and Continuous Improvement staff members to improve equipment, systems, and processes.
Recommending and driving changes to equipment, systems, processes, and procedures that will improve safety, quality, and/or efficiency.
Managing positive relationships with outside vendors, ensuring that services are rendered in a timely and thorough manner.
What you need to succeed:
BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical is preferred) from an ABET accredited university.
3+ years of experience in engineering and/or project management.
Proven results as an engineer and project manager (ideally in a CPG or food manufacturing).
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders and business partners.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Superior critical thinking skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines in a fast-paced organization and achieve desired results.
To better ensure the operational performance and safety of the business and the individual, the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English is required.

Support Project Manager in project hand-off to the installation team when needed
Provide Project Manager documented test results from system testing and commissioning
