Digital Liberal Arts (DLA) Fellows begin in their first semesters as Digital Liberal Arts (DLA) Apprentices, and spend a good portion of that first semester learning how to use and teach others how to use a variety of software through a combination of online modules, mentoring, and hands-on experience (skills developed include video editing, podcasting, timeline building, website building, digital storytelling, and more!). After a semester as an apprentice, they become DLA Fellows, who consult with faculty, staff, and students on their digital projects, and support in-class and open workshops. DLA Fellows also provides administrative support for the library department, such as assisting with events and creating training documentation, videos, and flyers. No prior technical experience is necessary.
Responsibilities:
Complete online training modules in a timely fashion to demonstrate understanding and competence in specific technologies that can be leveraged for digital projects.
Consult on digital projects and pedagogy with faculty, staff, and students.
Support and lead technology-related workshops.
Provide administrative support to the Library Department.
Create and review training documentation.
Create and edit videos.
A variety of technical projects as assigned.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The goals of the Tim Palmer River Conservation Fellowship Program are to advance dam removal projects in Pennsylvania, enhance community resiliency and river health, provide academic and professional development opportunities, and honor Tim Palmer's legacy in river conservation. The fellowship will provide a comprehensive, immersive experience for practitioners that are passionate about progressing river conservation and who are ready to take the next step in their careers. The fellowship will run for one year, with the possibility of extension for an additional year based on a case-by-case review by the American Rivers Mid Atlantic team. Working closely with American Rivers staff, the fellow will participate in dam removal feasibility studies, community outreach and engagement, research and policy analysis, collaboration with partners, project reporting, and fundraising support.
The fellow will directly support American Rivers' conservation campaigns, particularly focusing on:
1. Dam removal and river restoration projects in Pennsylvania
2. Community engagement and resiliency initiatives
3. Research on river conservation policies and ecological impacts of dams

The Saint Joseph's University Archives and Special Collections is seeking a graduate student in the fields of public history, library/information science, or museum studies for a fellowship to assist in the organization, digitization, access, and promotion of its various collections.
The Fellow will apply practical course related knowledge to digitization, archival processing, finding aid creation, and physical and virtual exhibitions. Working in an archival and special collections environment involves both intellectual and physical responsibilities, including research, writing, scanning, photography, file naming, lifting and moving boxes, climbing on ladders to reach higher shelves, cleaning, rearranging materials and putting away supplies.

Fellows will gain experience doing tasks such as soil sampling and nutrient analysis, tilling, weeding, creating a planting plan, undergoing food safety training, selling produce, educating members of the campus, and keeping inventory, among other duties. Archives Fellow Time Type: Part time and Qualifications: The Archives Fellow assists the Archivist in special projects at the Saint Joseph University Libraries. This is a part time fellow position that lasts from June 10, 2025 - August 23, 2025. The Fellowship is made possible through the Gladys Brooks Foundation.
The Saint Joseph's University Archives and Special Collections is seeking a graduate student in the fields of public history, library/information science, or museum studies for a fellowship to assist in the organization, digitization, access, and promotion of its various collections.
The Fellow will apply practical course related knowledge to digitization, archival processing, finding aid creation, and physical and virtual exhibitions. Working in an archival and special collections environment involves both intellectual and physical responsibilities, including research, writing, scanning, photography, file naming, lifting and moving boxes, climbing on ladders to reach higher shelves, cleaning, rearranging materials and putting away supplies.
Projects may include working with Saint Joseph's collections of oral histories, records of the University, Old Saint Joseph's Church, and Pharmacy school records and history. The Archives and Special Collections are housed in locations on the Hawk Hill and University City campuses.
The ability to work collaboratively and independently with attention to detail is necessary. The fellow should be able to support the day to day operations of the department, which are diverse and challenging. Patience and persistence is required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to)
* Assist archivist with organization of specialized collection within archives and special collections
* Work independently on assigned projects
* Organizing and providing metadata to digitized files
Minimum Qualifications: (Education/Training and Experience)
Required:
* Completed or in-process Masters degree in relevant field (public history, library/information science, or museum studies)
* Familiarity with archives and preservation
Preferred:
* Archival studies certificate or degree emphasis
* Demonstrable familiarity with archival theory, practice and applications related to digital repositories, archives and special collections
* Demonstrable familiarity and/or experience in cataloging and metadata creation
* Basic reading proficiency in Spanish

Student - Waste Diversion Fellow

Sustainability Fellows are ambassadors of environmentalism and sustainability to the Ursinus community. Fellows are passionate about work that makes a positive impact on the planet and our communities, as well as their own personal growth and professional development. Through this position, Fellows will develop critical thinking and leadership skills that will assist you in whatever you choose to do after your time at Ursinus. Like all Sustainability Fellows, Waste Diversion Fellows are expected to participate in a weekly 1-credit course, taught by the Director of Sustainability, participate in First Year Move-In, Sustainable Move-Out, and Office of Sustainability events and projects throughout the semester. Additionally, Fellows meet with the Director of Sustainability one-on-one at least twice a month to discuss project implementation and provide feedback. Fellows who complete all requirements of their position are eligible to receive a stipend for the fall and spring semester, as well as a green cord for graduation. All Fellowships are two semesters long. The Waste Diversion Fellowship runs from late August through the end of the spring semester in May, or the length of one academic year. (Please note that taxes will be taken out of the $150.00 stipend).
Responsibilities:
Waste Diversion Fellows' primary responsible is to assist the Director of Sustainability in leading our Sustainable Move-Out in the spring, as well as our Sustainable Freshman Move-In during Orientation Week in August. Waste Diversion Fellows spend time managing these processes, communicating with campus administrators to obtain the proper permissions, and recruit and supervise volunteers from around campus. Waste Diversion Fellows often develop programming to educate the campus on proper recycling and waste reduction. Waste and recycling management, public relations, non-profit work, education, and retail production are some of the fields that use skills that Waste Diversion Fellows hone as part of the Fellowships.

The Center for Writing and Speaking offers highly qualified student writers the opportunity to work as peer writing consultants, called Writing Fellows.
Writing Fellows consult with students at all levels of experience and aptitude, at all stages of the writing process, and from all disciplines within the college. Some Writing Fellows hold appointment hours in the Center for Writing and Speaking. Other Writing Fellows are paired with a section of a course, usually Common Intellectual Experience (CIE) or 100- and 200-level courses in the disciplines. These Writing Fellows also meet with their faculty partner to discuss writing pedagogy and consult with each student in their class about twice per semester.
Responsibilities:
The primary Writing Fellow duties are:
To advise and support students through all stages of the writing process.
To locate strengths and identify patterns of error in student writing, and to explain each cogently to students.
To observe rehearsals of oral presentations and offer suggestions for improvement.
To help students articulate a revision plan for their writing and speaking.
To document each tutoring session and provide a session record to the student, the professor, and the Director of the Writing and Speaking Program.
Writing Fellows who are paired with a course section are also expected to communicate regularly with their faculty partner about pedagogical goals and student progress.
