**Strategic Financing Services - Open Access Fellow** The Strategic Financing Services team at Cherry Bekaert (SFS) is looking for an Open Access Fellow to join the SFS team. We offer an opportunity to work with a team of experts with a deep track record in New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) allocation applications, Historic Tax Credit (HTC) and NMTC placement and deployment, and NMTC compliance and asset management services. The fellow will have a unique opportunity to experience multiple facets of the NMTC industry and serve as a key member of the team, completing tangible projects throughout the duration of the fellowship.

**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Work with the Project Finance team to help identify, evaluate, and manage a pipeline of NMTC, and other community development finance, opportunities
+ Help Collect, package, and manage due diligence on potential borrowers and Project Sponsors
+ Develop marketing materials to present to CDEs and investors
+ Support meetings with CDEs to better identify the best project financing match
+ Update, maintain, and optimize multiple databases housed in Smartsheet and Microsoft Dynamics
+ Work with Management Services team to learn accounting entries; analysis of financial statements and quarterly financial statements for CDEs, Sub-CDEs, and QALICBs
+ Assist with providing information for annual audits of CDEs, Sub-CDEs, and QALICBs
+ Assist with loan servicing and asset management activities for loan portfolio
+ Collect and provide quarterly financial analysis of project-level financial statements
+ Work with the SFS team and The Innovate Fund (our affiliated CDE) to support event logistics, including board meeting preparation and conference attendee outreach
+ Support collection and visualization of impact data to be presented to multiple stakeholders

The Fisher Fellow for Climate Science (FFCS) is a full-time, four-year position responsible for the development and delivery of new and existing climate-related programming at Cranbrook Schools and the Cranbrook Institute of Science. This new position will play an integral role in creating exceptional interactive experiences and partnerships between Cranbrook Schools and the Institute related to climate science and climate change. The work of the Fellow will focus on the development and delivery of engaging programs that leverage the resources of the Institute of Science, and which will increase understanding of the intersection between environmental, social and economic issues related to climate change, and the evolving pedagogy of how climate science is taught in K-12 schools as well as other related public contexts (museums, nature-related sites, etc.). The position will also serve as the primary liaison between the Institute and the PreK-12 Cranbrook Schools, in the creation of an emerging climate-focused curriculum at all grade levels at the Schools. A demonstrated expertise with climate science and at least five years of experience with formal or informal educational practice, preferably at the secondary and/or elementary level, is required.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serve as a liaison and significant relationship builder between staff at the Institute of Science and Schools' faculty.
Envision, develop and deliver climate-aligned educational programs for a wide range of grades and courses for students at Cranbrook Schools, with eventual application to other student-focused audiences at the Institute and elsewhere.
Evolve tailored state-of-the-art curriculum and associated digital and written resources for K-12 learners related to climate science.
Work with diverse Schools' audiences in a thoughtful and enthusiastic manner with a demonstrated understanding of global, national, and regional climate issues.
Find ways to use the natural biodiversity of Cranbrook's 319-acre campus to full advantage in developing curriculum and programmatic experiences for students.

Support the professional development and academic needs related to climate science of Cranbrook Schools' faculty.
Assist the Institute in the development of a new long-term exhibition focused on climate change, including adjacent curriculum and programming associated with it.

Unit Position Summary
In partnership with the United Dairy Industry of Michigan (UDIM), this ten-month position will contribute to the mission of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics by providing performance nutrition services to Michigan State University students-athletes and sports teams. This fellowship will prepare an entry-level Registered Dietitian (RD) for advanced sports nutrition practice through an immersive sports nutrition experience including mentored sports performance education and dedicated sport assignments/responsibilities. Sponsored by the UDIM, this fellowship will incorporate scientifically supported nutrition information to promote dairy as part of a healthy diet through educational programs, cooking demos, dining hall and grocery store tours, as well as approved social media messaging. This individual will report to the MSU Athletics Director of Performance Nutrition.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
Manage education, counseling, and fueling plans for assigned Olympic sports teams including, but not limited to the following:
Dietary/nutrition consultations/assessments/screenings
Development and facilitation of team nutrition education sessions for student-athletes and staff
Individual and team meal plan development
Medical nutrition therapy (MNT) on nutrition-related conditions such as nutrient deficiencies, food allergies/sensitivities/intolerances, GI complications, injury and/or surgical rehabilitation, etc.
Perform and interpret results of nutrition, hydration, and body composition assessments
Research, evaluation, education, recommendation, and provision of permissible dietary supplements, as needed/appropriate
Grocery store tours and cooking demos
Document performance nutrition interventions and metrics, as appropriate
Develop education material and programming in collaboration with Performance Nutrition and Milk Means More staff
Assist Olympic Sports Performance Dietitian with day-to-day fueling station operations
Aid with recruitment, training, education, mentorship, management, and scheduling of dietetic interns and student volunteers, as assigned
Serve as a nutrition resource for athletic trainers, coaches, strength and conditioning staff, physicians, and team personnel

Job Description:
The candidate will be charged with leading an externally funded study of the role of feedback in star formation primarily using infrared observations from space telescopes. They will help lead the reduction and analysis of data from the JWST telescope obtained by the HEFE program, a large JWST program led by UToledo, as well as HST data and ground-based IR data. Tasks include analyzing photometry, images, spectra, and spectral-imaging data cubes with the goal of measuring various signatures of protostellar accretion and feedback. They will then use this data to make inferences on the impact of feedback and environment on star formation environment. They lead and contribute to publication of these data and present the results at meeting. In addition, they will collaborate on proposing new studies based on that data.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Ph.D. degree in Physics, Astronomy, or related fields.
* Experience in the area of galactic star formation
* Experience in analysis of astronomical spectral data.
* Experience with software for astronomical data reduction and Python language.

The Public Interest Design (PID) Fellow will be an integral part of the DCDC team, working directly with community stakeholders on architecture and/or landscape and urban design projects. The fellow will work collaboratively with community stakeholders and other project partners. This fellowship opportunity will offer a recent graduate an opportunity to gain their first professional experience in a PID office and start building a network in the field. Fellows will work on DCDC projects along with the rest of the DCDC staff, learning and practicing community engagement, professional office systems, and architecture, landscape and urban design skills.
In the field of architecture today, people of color are poorly represented. It is essential that public interest design shift toward a profession that reflects the community it serves, particularly in Detroit. We know that missing links in the path toward a career in architecture include early career opportunities that help designers gain a foothold in the profession. This inaugural fellowship position seeks young designers who are eager to take strides into the field and gain experience as emerging public interest designers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
