    Post Doc Faculty in Chemical Engineering The School of Chemical Engineering is seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Barrier Materials Lab, within the Petroleum Engineering Program to lead experimental studies in the development and testing of selfsensing wellbore barrier materials for geothermal wellbore construction. The candidate will be responsible for other duties including managing laboratories and equipment, training graduate and undergraduate students, data analysis/presentation, and the preparation of manuscripts and proposals. Upon performance evaluation at 6 months, the contract can potentially be renewed for additional 12-18 months. This is a multinational geothermal project involving several countries and the US team is represented by LBNL (PI) and OSU (co PI). Qualifications: The applicant should have a Ph.D. degree in materials science or civil engineering with expertise in cement/concrete and application of graphene for self-sensing capabilities. Additional competences in SEM/FIB-EDS, Xray microscopy, image analysis, chemistry of materials/ micro/nano indentation and ability to use materials characterization tools such as EBSD, EPMA, XRD, AFM, XRF. The AD will take a leadership role in implementing gallery exhibitions public programming at 101 Archer in Tulsa's downtown Arts District. Characteristic Duties Develop, publish, and support original research on cultures of democracy in Indian Country. Assist the director in managing administrative aspects of the OCH , including budgeting, event management, and assessment. Organize and manage grant-funded events at the OCH , working with partners and constituencies both on and beyond campus. Work with the director to design, budget, execute, and assess exhibition and programming at 101 Archer focused on three topics funded by the grant: indigenous cultures of democracy, re-imagining citizenship, and shared futurisms. Participate in grant-supported meetings and seminars designed to create interdisciplinary, community-engaged, collaborative programming. Help oversee administrative staff engaged in the day-to-day operation of the OCH's digital media including Facebook, Twitter, and a website. Draft, edit, proof, and produce print and digital materials to promote events, engage the community, and disseminate the OCH's work. King Postdoctoral Fellow. HCAR houses the Gilcrease Library and Archive containing more than 100,000 rare books, manuscripts, maps, photographs, and unpublished works. The collection dates back to the time of Columbus and details the Spanish arrival in the Americas, the New England colonies, the founding of democracy in the United States, and Anglo-Indian contact and conflict in the American West. The center also holds a large Native American collection of manuscripts, photographs, maps, and rare books. Materials housed at the University of Tulsa's McFarlin Library Special Collections on the TU campus complement many of the center's strengths, but offers unique research opportunities in English and American literature. The McFarlin Library Special Collections holds one of the five largest collections in the world on the celebrated Irish writer James Joyce and the life archive of Nobel Laureate Sir V.S. Naipaul. Other significant collections include a wide variety of British, Irish, and American modernist literature, a large and varied collection of materials on World War I, Native American history and culture, and Tulsa race relations.
