About the Position
Your Job
As a fellow in the Innovative Schools Fellowship you will:
Build partnerships and alliances with families, community leaders, and organizations in St. Louis committed to transformational outcomes for children.
Mobilize this coalition to advocate for expanded high quality public school options.
Co-Design an innovative school model that ensures that children are set up for success alongside a community coalition and a cabinet of national experts in various aspects of teaching, learning, and design.
Launch the school by securing authorization for opening a new public school, which may include charter sponsorship.
Recruit and onboard families and teammates aligned to the vision for the new school(s)
Implement the necessary systems and structures in place to bring the vision of excellence and equity developed in the design process to life in a school on a daily basis.

You will ultimately be accountable to yourself in meeting the benchmarks to launch this school in partnership with a community coalition. Multiple stakeholders will support you as accountability partners, including The Opportunity Trust team, national partners, former and current ISF fellows, and, eventually your board of directors.

**Strategic Financing Services - Open Access Fellow** The Strategic Financing Services team at Cherry Bekaert (SFS) is looking for an Open Access Fellow to join the SFS team. We offer an opportunity to work with a team of experts with a deep track record in New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) allocation applications, Historic Tax Credit (HTC) and NMTC placement and deployment, and NMTC compliance and asset management services. **Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Work with the Project Finance team to help identify, evaluate, and manage a pipeline of NMTC, and other community development finance, opportunities
+ Help Collect, package, and manage due diligence on potential borrowers and Project Sponsors
+ Develop marketing materials to present to CDEs and investors
+ Support meetings with CDEs to better identify the best project financing match
+ Update, maintain, and optimize multiple databases housed in Smartsheet and Microsoft Dynamics
+ Work with Management Services team to learn accounting entries; analysis of financial statements and quarterly financial statements for CDEs, Sub-CDEs, and QALICBs
+ Assist with providing information for annual audits of CDEs, Sub-CDEs, and QALICBs

UMKC School of Law has an exciting opportunity to join our Tenant Assistance Initiative as a Truman Fellow. The Truman Fellowship Program (named for Harry S. Truman, 33rd President of the United States, who attended Kansas City School of Law and served for a time as the presiding judge in Jackson County, Missouri), provides newly licensed and experienced attorneys with an opportunity for training and public service. The Tenant Assistance Initiative provides legal counsel to tenants facing eviction in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Tenants are referred to UMKC by the Right to Counsel program for Kansas City, Missouri, by United Way, and through other outreach efforts. Fellows represent tenants with supervision and training from the UMKC initiative.
The city of Kansas City, Missouri, passed the Right to Counsel ordinance in 2021, which became effective June 1, 2022. The UMKC Tenant Assistance Initiative is one of the legal services providers under contract to provide tenant representation for the Kansas City program. However, attorneys have to make regular (typically at least once per week) appearances in court for hearings, conferences, and trials.

Summary: This full-time, 2-year temporary wildlife veterinary fellow position will include primary duties dedicated to the advancement of the Forest Park Living Lab (FPLL). The FPLL is a collaborative program that includes the Saint Louis Zoo, Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL), St. Louis University, Forest Park Forever, and the World Bird Sanctuary. In this position, the Fellow will be part of the Saint Louis Zoo Institute for Conservation Medicine (ICM) Team. The Fellow will also be in the graduate cohort of the WUSTL Living Earth Collaborative (LEC), and as such they will have an affiliation with WUSTL. The position is based at the Zoo's main campus in Forest Park, and the fellow will report to the Director of the Institute for Conservation Medicine.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-animal handling may include trap set up and monitoring, and all preparations for safe animal handling and health sampling procedures.
Animal handling that may include manual and/or anesthetic captures, biomaterial sample collection, telemetry tag placement, and post procedure long-term monitoring.
Analyses of health data along with movement, and ecological data collected by the team.
Outreach activities including presentations that may be delivered to the general public and students from K-12 to graduate level.
Co-mentor along with ICM and FPLL personnel undergraduate and possibly graduate students.
Participation in LEC seminars and programs as a member of the LEC post-doc and fellow cohort.
Website administrator for the collaborative Forest Park Living Lab (forestparklivinglab.org) website pages.
Coordinate field activities, didactic exercises, and help facilitate communication between FPLL leadership and partners.
Publication of at least two scientific papers.
At least one grant submitted during time of the fellowship to ensure long-term success of FPLL.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Veterinary degree from an accredited veterinary college.
Experience working with non-domestic animals and/or with affiliated skills in disease and/or movement ecology.

Training within both Adolescent and Adult IOPs are offered, and Fellows will also have the opportunity to treat those seeking individual outpatient therapy. Dr. Mishell Hashmi directs the program.
Supervised Clinical Experience
Each fellow receives weekly, face-to-face supervision. In addition, fellows may also receive peer supervision from other licensed staff clinicians. Supervision may include the use of case notes and other supporting materials. Supervisors are responsible for providing fellows with written and verbal feedback regarding their performance and progress. Informal verbal feedback is provided on an ongoing basis.
Trainings Meetings and Seminars
Throughout the year, fellows attend a weekly, one-hour-seminar series with topics covering theoretical and therapeutic issues related to the fellow's clinical experience. Topic examples from previous years include: A Trans-Diagnostic Treatment Model for OCD & Anxiety-Related Disorders, Developing Treatment Plans, DBT Skills Training, Cognitive Behavioral Treatments for Insomnia, Gestalt Therapy: Implementing Theory into Practice, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Radically Open DBT.
The seminar sessions are taught by the faculty and staff of the Institute, as well as guest speakers.
To complement supervision and the seminar series, fellow are required to read a variety of materials from a reading list (e.g., treatment manuals, book chapters, and research articles). These readings are designed to enhance skill-building and to complement the other training experiences.
Qualifications
Applicants for our Fellowship positions must have completed all requirements for either a Doctoral Degree in psychology or related field (and must have received the Doctoral Degree from an APA accredited program or from a regionally accredited institution of higher education, including an APA accredited internship or an internship meeting APPIC standards) OR will have completed all requirements for a master's degree in a mental health field (e.g. social work, professional counseling).

The Missouri Botanical Garden (MBG) seeks to hire a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow to work in the lab of Dr. Matthew Austin on a project investigating how hyperspectral scans of Herbarium specimens can be used for taxonomic identification and trait prediction. The candidate will (1) collect hyperspectral data from taxonomically diverse Herbarium specimens, (2) use machine learning to analyze the resolution of taxonomic identification and accuracy of trait prediction that can be achieved with hyperspectral data, (3) prepare and submit manuscripts for publication, and (4) assist MBG scientists with other research-related activities, including mentoring of students and technicians, participating in outreach events and workshops, and presenting research lectures. This person will also have the opportunity to explore other novel applications of hyperspectral data in the biodiversity sciences.
This position is part of MBG's Revolutionizing Species Identification (RSI) project. The RSI project - made possible by an anonymous $14.4 million grant - is digitizing MBG's entire herbarium (of nearly 8 million specimens) and is harnessing specimen data to develop new technology to automatically identify herbarium specimens. The successful candidate will work closely with MBG scientists and colleagues to carry out this groundbreaking initiative.
The position will be based in St. Louis, which is home to a collaborative community of ecologists, evolutionary biologists, and data scientists that interact through partnerships among MBG, Washington University in St. Louis, the University of Missouri - St. Louis, Saint Louis University, and other area institutions. This position is based in the Herbarium, a department within MBG's Science and Conservation Division, which manages MBG's world-class Herbarium and conducts specimen-based research in the furtherance of biodiversity conservation and ecosystem restoration.

Our training is geared towards preparing our fellows to become clinicians who provide excellent evidence-based psychiatric care in various clinical settings - from community-based care to the academic university setting.
The program provides some of the same didactic experiences to the APP fellows as our physician trainees receive. The DiPaolo Lab at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a full-time postdoctoral research associate in the fields of inflammation, immunology and autoimmunity. We investigate inflammation, autoimmunity, and cancer. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and intellectually invested.
