Responsibilities
* Draft written materials, including responses to proposed rules and other agency initiatives on women's health issues, factsheets, talking points, blogs and other materials;

* Conduct legal and policy analysis of federal and state legislative and administrative proposals;
* Work with advocates and policymakers on policy development, including identifying ways to make advancements in the areas of health equity and justice in a creative and imaginative way;
* Participate in coalition meetings and working closely with partners in various progressive coalitions;

Compensation
A salary within the range of $88,055-96,786 will be provided to the successful candidate, consistent with the National Women's Law Center's compensation framework. The successful candidate's salary within this range will be determined by the number years of relevant experience they bring to the role.

NWLC is a non-profit organization whose headquarters and staff are based in Washington, D.C. at our new office at 1350 Eye Street N.W. The Program Integrity Fellow will pursue reforms in specific federal administrative departments to improve the financial efficiency of specific programs. The Fellow will guide and execute research to identify inefficient policies and practices within those departments and propose reforms. Examples of such practices may include the design of federal policies in areas such as economic development, insurance programs, small business supports, transfer programs and disaster relief funding. ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Scowcroft-Nye Fellowship is a full-time, temporary opportunity for young leaders to join the Aspen Strategy Group (ASG) team. Meant as a stepping-stone to launch a career in national security and foreign policy, the fellowship lets young professionals experience first-hand how today s preeminent politicians, leaders, and thinkers set aside differences and exchange ideas for open and cooperative dialogue. Scowcroft-Nye fellows typically join the ASG team for a period of six months, during which time they are encouraged to build knowledge in the field while developing the practical skills required to convene dialogues and communicate effectively with national security and foreign policy leaders.
This fellowship is set in a collaborative, small-team, and fast-paced environment. Scowcroft-Nye Fellows work and contribute to projects across all three pillars of our work: the Aspen Strategy Group, the Aspen Security Forum, and the Rising Leaders Program.
