Qualified applicants with a Ph.D. (or equivalent training and experience) in Neuroimmunology, Neurosciences, Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or Biochemistry is essential. Technical skills including the handling and differentiation of iPSCs would be preferred, although not required. This is an initial one year appointment, with the possibility of extension for more years. Provide patients with appropriate referrals for a variety of behavioral health needs (short term psychotherapy, long term psychotherapy, and inpatient treatment as needed) both within and outside of JPCHC system. Prepare and present two to three didactic style trainings per year to other trainees (e.g. practicum students and doctoral interns) on topics related to patient care, integrated behavioral health, and other areas associated with the implementation of care. Provide supervision and consultation to trainees on a wide range of topics (therapy, basic patient care, testing, etc.). Perform other Post-Doctoral Fellow services as may reasonably be requested by JPCHC. Administrative Services of Post-Doctoral Fellow: Meet and collaborate with HSSP for supervision for at least 2 hours per week to ensure clinical work meets standards for obtaining licensure. Uphold all applicable policies of the agency to ensure quality work. Assist licensed supervisors in the provision of supervision of lower level trainees (Practicum students, Assistantship Students, Doctoral Interns) by providing additional supervision and consultation. Support quality improvement, collaborative practice and other efforts directed toward improving clinical practice, patient care outcomes, resource utilization and cost effectiveness within the continuum of patient care. This includes participation on task forces and supporting the implementation of initiatives directed to improving patient care. Perform other administrative duties and responsibilities at the Practice Site as may be reasonably requested by JPCHC.
