Participate in and accomplish CUSP Teaching Certificate program; Perform other duties as assigned.

LA28 Olympian/Paralympian Athlete Fellowship Program - Summer 2025
Program
The LA28 Olympian/Paralympian Fellowship Program is a year-long opportunity featuring two six-month rotations across LA28's operational teams. Successful candidates will complete one rotation from July to December 2025 and another from January to June 2026. Assignments will be determined based on interviews and the applicant pool. Fellows will gain valuable work experience, expand their networks, and provide feedback throughout the program.
Since its launch in 2021, the program has supported 34 participants and graduates. These Athlete Fellows have represented 13 countries and competed in 18 sports, collectively earning 25 Olympic and Paralympic medals across 15 editions of the Games.
Salary and Benefits
Fellows will receive a salary and benefits for their one-year commitment: $67,000.00

The Event Management team is responsible for leading the integrated event operational planning at the venue level for all competition and training venues and some major non-competition venues. The group is also responsible for managing and coordinating the negotiation of venue agreements, the collation and organization of venue-related documentation and data, and the maintenance of strong working relationships with all venue partners. At Games Time, the Event Management team leads and manages the event teams at venues, event delivery, venue communication, and venue issue resolution.

We coordinate closely with the Olympic Broadcasting Service (OBC) and the IOC to serve the Media Rights Holders and Press stakeholders, collaborating cross0functinoally with LA28 service functional areas to deliver the appropriate levels of service.

National Committee Services (NCS)
NCS facilitates the relationships and planning between the 206 National Olympic Committees (NOC) and 183 National Paralympic Committees (NPC) and LA28. A truly global and cross-functional team, NCS serves as a key channel for communication, education, facilitation, and coordination to help all NOCs and NPCs plan for the LA28 Games. What are they planning for? NOCs and NPCS are responsible for the Games experience for all their delegation members outside of the field of play. An NOC or NPC delegations are largely made up of athletes and team officials (coaches, technical personal, caddies, grooms, guides, etc.); however, they also are responsible for all other official delegation members such as support staff, training partners, horse owners, athlete chaperones, dignitaries, and guests. As a result, NCS is a key main point of contact and facilitator of pre-Games preparation and planning supporting the definition of service levels, hosting NOC/NPC visits, delivering seminars and workshops, as well other key programs required to support the NOCs, NPCs, AND LA28 Functional Areas in ensuring LA28 is the best one yet!

The clientele presents with a wide range of problems including adjustment difficulties, relationship concerns, major affective disorders, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, and often present in psychological crisis. Learning disabilities, substance abuse problems, and other disorders are also present.
The clinical caseload is generally 16-20 hours per week and includes intake/assessment, crisis management, individual and group psychotherapy. It is expected that Residents take advantage of the many opportunities to participate in campus outreach and education. The remaining hours are spent in supervision, outreach, case consultation, seminars, and chart documentation.

The Role:
DPA's remote summer internships are designed to provide an integrated and educational experience for those interested in learning about drug policy and regulatory and legislative practices first-hand. Our organizational ethos is to tackle racism directly and work to address the harms of the drug war that are overwhelmingly affecting low-income communities and people of color.
California Policy Interns conduct research, draft briefs, fact sheets, and other materials on a wide range of drug policy reform issues; participate in internal and external meetings; analyze state and/or federal legislation; assist in planning meetings and convenings; conduct outreach to partners and allies; and perform various administrative functions.
Skills and Experience:
Applicants must be enthusiastic about the organization's agenda, mission, and vision with solid written, communication, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidates are independent, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with a proactive work style. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. Candidates must also be open to evolving responsibilities.
Hours:
