The Genitourinary Oncology Service in the Division of Solid Tumor Oncology, Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking full-time Academic Clinicians or Clinical Investigators at the Assistant Attending level or higher, focusing on clinical care, research and innovation, and teaching. This position would serve as a hybrid role servicing our Manhattan location at the Sidney Kimmel Center for Prostate and Urologic Cancers, and one of our Regional Network sites (New Jersey, Long Island, Westchester, etc.), or a Regional Network Site only. Our 30 full time Genitourinary Oncologists see patients with a wide range of malignant diseases including prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, and testicular cancer, among others. The Genitourinary Oncology Service also supports a wide range of clinical and translational research. RESPONSIBILITIES: Seeking energetic and engaging Adjunct Faculty/Pharmacy Technician (WEOC) to teach a variety of courses in the Pharmacy Technician program. The incumbent will provide classroom instruction for students interested in employment as pharmacy technicians (in retail pharmacies or hospitals). Successful candidates must demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of a diverse population and have the ability to work effectively with students who have barriers to employment. Classes may be offered days or evenings. Requirements: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited pharmacy program and hold a current NYS Pharmacist license with a minimum of one year pharmacy work experience; or a Bachelor's degree, preferably in life/health science and certification as a pharmacy technician with a minimum of 4 years' experience. A minimum of one (1) year of teaching or training experience is required. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills are required; the ability to establish a rapport with students and maintain an environment that supports learning and promotes student retention, experience teaching remotely, and experience using an LMS are also required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience teaching adult learners and at-risk populations strongly preferred. Organizational and detail-oriented skills also preferred. The Genitourinary Oncology Service in the Division of Solid Tumor Oncology, Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking full-time Academic Clinicians or Clinical Investigators at the Assistant Attending level or higher, focusing on clinical care, research and innovation, and teaching. This position would serve as a hybrid role servicing our Manhattan location at the Sidney Kimmel Center for Prostate and Urologic Cancers, and one of our Regional Network sites (New Jersey, Long Island, Westchester, etc.), or a Regional Network Site only. Our 30 full time Genitourinary Oncologists see patients with a wide range of malignant diseases including prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, and testicular cancer, among others. The Genitourinary Oncology Service also supports a wide range of clinical and translational research. For this position, candidates should have a superb clinical and interpersonal skills, must also be a critical thinker, highly motivated, empathetic, and a team player.
