The Cardiac Electrophysiologist will be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of complex heart rhythm disorders, performing both inpatient and outpatient consultations and a full range of EP procedures. The ideal candidate is fellowship-trained, board-certified (or board-eligible), and committed to clinical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrophysiology studies, device implantations (pacemakers, ICDs, CRTs), ablations (SVT, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia), and lead extractions
Interpret diagnostic tests including ECGs, Holter monitors, event monitors, and loop recorders
Provide patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, nurses, and advanced practice providers
Participate in call rotation as required
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and educational efforts within the department

Tenure-track research position for investigators with proven skills in conducting original research in the field of neuro-oncology, including adult, pediatric, primary or metastatic brain cancers. Candidates must have a history of successful funding or promising early-career awards; impactful peer-reviewed publications; and clear vision for long-term growth of their research program. The successful candidate will join a community of neuroscience and oncology investigators with strengths in genomics, cytoskeleton, tumor microenvironment, biomechanics, cancer molecular and cellular biology, and population studies. Research will be supported by state-of-the art genomics and proteomics facilities, advanced microscopy, and tumor biobanking including a unique collection of brain cancer specimens.
As a member of the SUNY Upstate Cancer Center the successful candidate will actively participate in developing a research program in neuro-oncology that will combine strengths from multiple topic areas to attract further talent and continued funding support.
