Manufacture, assemble, integrate, configure, and QA various video streaming, storage, and network distribution systems.
The tasks required vary with each system integration requirements.
Build all types of connectors, be familiar with different types/gauges of wiring, cables to include CAT5/6, Fiber, power, HDMI, RG6, and others.
Assemble and wire equipment racks with equipment.
Learn and configure various types of video servers, encoders, decoders, Television Receive Only (TVRO) satellite terminals, RF distribution equipment, networking protocols and switch configurations, digital and analog camera systems.
Use various types of test equipment to include multimeters, spectrum analyzers, cable TV test sets, fiber optic testers.
Travel to other facilities including ships to perform the aforementioned functions.
Provide thorough, daily communications and status reports to include estimates of time to complete assigned tasks.

Perform Technical Sustainment Support (TSS), Sustainment Engineering (SE), Modernization Support (MS), Logistic Support (LS), and other SATCOM Technical Support Service for the Global Broadcast Service (GBS): AN/USR-10A V(1-7), AN/USR-10B, AN/TSR-11, AN/PRS-11, AN/PRS-12, AN/PRS-60, AN/USQ-196, and crypto and modems associated with the preceding systems.
Provide Global Broadcast Service (GBS) Program of Record (POR) activities to include, but not limited to PITCO, SOVT, PICO, Engineering/Field Changes, CASREP analysis (entries in Information Technology Service Management ITSM), Technical Feedback Reports (TFBR), and Engineering/Technical reviews.
Provide CONUS/OCONUS on-site technical assist visits and support to troubleshoot problems and resolve equipment issues, perform equipment testing to verify systems for full functionality, test, identify, and replace failed components, provide No Evidence of Failure (NEOF) testing of potentially failed parts, and provide technical support for existing system lab assets and sites.

Must be able to distinguish between different colors, possess manual dexterity to complete fine motor tasks, stand for extended periods of time, and lift and carry items weighing up to 50lbs.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of technical and management personnel.
