This Expert Consultant position (embedded and referred to as a Business Marketing Strategist within the client organization) will be the liaison between an Acxiom dedicated account team and a major Financial Services, Acxiom client. There will be significant client interaction and so a working knowledge of the financial services industry either having worked at Acxiom or a similar company, will be vital for this role. Specifically, candidates with experience working for a financial services company in any marketing services capacity, will be highly desirable. Strong client relations and communication skills are a requirement to perform the duties of this role. The primary service provided by Acxiom to this client, include a credit card marketing acquisitions database that candidate in this role would come to be familiar and engaged with. This database, and related services, will allow for optimization of client's execution of acquisition marketing, including the creation of an identity graph and CDP. Additional services to include data for modeling, integration of bureau data, and creation of real-time marketing capabilities for card acquisition including cross sell and open market initiatives. Principal shall lead the development of their office Mechanical standards and coordinate those standards through the Chief Engineer across offices. * Engineer of Record on select projects as needed. * Provide "on-the-spot" advice and decisions - technical and cost estimates. Principal engineer is the top Mechanical in an office unless mechanical issue involves other office in the service line then the Chief Engineer presides. * Coordinates with client/project managers and department managers within an office to resolve Mechanical engineering conflicts. * Office Organizational Management: Assist Office/Business Unit Manager to ensure successful office operations, including advice on staff organizational structure and office procedures. * Evaluation of project opportunities and Go/No Go determination based on technical qualifications, resource availability and alignment with business strategy and portfolio. * Technical interface with code officials and contractors. * Active member/leader of local and national technical organizations (e.g. ASHRAE); present at conferences - industry thought leader. Required Skills & Required Experience * Accomplished mechanical engineer/PE with 20+ years of progressive technical experience in the design of mechanical systems, thermal energy infrastructure and clean energy technologies. * Experience should include technical oversight of multiple projects with proven success in meeting contract specifications and achieving high performance and advanced energy design standards. * Self-motivated with highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
