Primary Purpose PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Manage the Retail Rates Administration personnel and associated work including the calculation, preparation, implementation, interpretation, and administration of Company retail electric service rates billed to the customers of ACE and DPL. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. Primary Duties PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Manage activities of the Retail Rate Administration group using leadership skills and an in-depth working knowledge of the Company's policies, rates, riders, terms, conditions, rules, and contracts for the provision of retail electric services to ensure fair and consistent application and administration of such rates. Activities include coordinating the development and maintenance of customer rates and Company tariffs, preparation of responses to external and internal inquiries regarding rate calculations, coordinating rate filings with state utility Commissions, and coordinating company personnel in the execution of commission directives regarding changes for the billing of electric services. Participate in retail rate-related regulatory proceedings or internal workshops to formulate policy positions, draft rules, implementation plans, and tariff language regarding the billing for retail services. Prepare, review, and present testimony and undergo cross‑examination as a retail rate administration expert witness for petitions with the public utility commission (e. g. , the NJ board of Public Utilities) using analytical skills and an in-depth working knowledge of electric service tariffs, charges, terms, conditions, rules, reports, policy, contract forms, legal, regulatory, and financial concepts and standards unique to the electric utility industry. Manage activities necessary to maintain proper staffing and related resources of the Retail Rate Administration group's management positions to meet corporate objectives. Job Scope JOB SCOPE Day to day leadership and supervisory skills will be necessary to manage a small group of direct reports or project team members; requiring independent thinking and decision-making. Critical and Analytical thinking skills will be required to research and analyze previous commission directives, Company filings, and other documentation to act as the Retail Rate department's expert to effectively, solve problems, answer questions and present new ideas. Financial, mathematical and spreadsheet acumen is also necessary to navigate the development of retail rates based on mathematical calculations, most often executed in Excel, using financial and operational information of the utility. Communication skills will be required when communicating with and influencing internal and external contacts, including contacts with senior managers, numerous internal departments, customers, and regulatory organizations regarding proposed changes to retail rates and their impacts. Adaptability will be needed as the work is diversified and complex in nature. Work involves the understanding and application of a wide variety of Company policies, guidelines, practices and procedures. Primary Purpose PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Optimize the practices, policies, procedures and programs to operate the electric distribution system in a safe, reliable and efficient manner with the welfare of employees, customers, the public and shareholders in mind. Follow established operating practices and procedures as they relate to customer restoration, switching and operating for scheduled and emergent work. Manage real-time system alarm status and loading conditions. Perform system restoration during storms and emergency events. Perform the work of receiving, recording, routing, dispatching customer calls, information, orders, and emergency calls. Serve as the tagging authority by leading and directing the application of the safety tagging procedures. Execute line clearance orders by confirming and directing the placement of tags in accordance with LOTO. Lead, direct and supervise associates in restoring customers and safely clearing and restoring equipment. Recognize and reinforce strong performers. Take appropriate administrative actions to address weak performers. Control and operate the distribution system. Span of control includes all devices connected to the distribution system including distribution automation equipment and network underground systems. Respond to electrical service interruptions involving all distribution system. Perform electrical switching on a planned, emergent and emergency basis on distribution system. Maintain system voltages as well as line and equipment loadings within acceptable limits. Maintain and apply a working knowledge of the Exelon Management Model for business controls and meet management's expectation for conducting effective business. Demonstrate proficiency at multiple operating desks. Provides training to less experienced employees. Requires minimal guidance and demonstrates leadership throughout the OCC. Position requires the ability to work extended hours, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays and overtime on regularly scheduled days off to support operations, including coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. Maintain the system integrity, reliability and security of distribution system in a safe, reliable and efficient manner. (25%) Gather and analyze system data to determine the feasibility of switching requests. Verify the safe and efficient operation of the electrical system. (15%) Compile switching routines within system loading and system configuration parameters and provide guidelines to ensure proper clearance for switching requests. Develop and provide emergency switching plans based on last contingencies. The different groups include Substation and overhead operating, overhead and underground maintenance, substation maintenance, Distribution Testing and Substation Testing. The consequences of operating errors or improper system operation could cost the company millions of dollars in direct, indirect and intangible costs such as the loss of customer good will, damaged company equipment, damaged customer equipment and damage to the company's public image. Independent judgment is essential in making the real time decisions necessary to maintain the integrity, reliability and security of the Exelon Utilities distribution system. Primary Purpose PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Assist Project & Business Managers and Project Management Analysts in their duties. Provide mentoring/coaching, conducting performance reviews, lead innovation on process / tools improvements, lead different initiatives (internal of EU levels), etc. Supervises, mentors, and manages the workload and assignments among the specific group. Develop, monitor, and present project and program performance reports and provide broad analytical and operational support to P&CM. Prepare comprehensive reports to support business operations including reauthorization risk, forecast accuracy by Project Managers, program and department, CIAC forecast and analysis, contingency released and remaining, and others as requested. Coordinate the reporting of financial and schedule risks and opportunities and providing detailed analysis of variances to estimates, schedules or budget, quarterly plan, and month over month expenditures for key managers and senior leadership. Represent Project Controls regarding the estimating, scheduling or cost processes, process improvement and innovations, and adherence to procedures. Work with Finance department and others to address issues as needed. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. Primary Duties PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible for providing supervision, performance measures and the training and mentoring of a specified function for Project Management Analysts (PMA), (both internal employees and contractors) either estimators, schedulers cost analysts and Contractors (Project Management Analysts) or as directed by the Manager (30%) Responsible for recruiting and hiring Project Management Analysts and ensure that they are properly onboarded and provided with the tools to provide support to their assigned project managers (20%) Responsible for building the reports i. e. Estimates, Schedules and Financial reports and their associated risks and opportunities and providing detailed analysis of variances to budget, quarterly plan, and month over month variance analysis. Accountable for analyzing and providing guidance to ensuring alignment of work plan with department budget, business performance goals, regulatory priorities, and reliability objectives. (20%) Assist in the development and continued monitoring and alignment of the budgets and LRPs, monitor, track, and report project budgets, forecasts, accruals, and actuals and status process. Attend required meetings and reach out to project stakeholders for detailed project information. Identify project/program budget, forecast, and authorization issues early and assist in developing resolutions to meet project metrics for transmission, sub-station, distribution, projects, and programs. Support business units, business unit subsidiaries, and entities in recording and reporting financial transactions in an accurate and timely manner. Primary Duties PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Supports preparation and delivery of corporation's monthly financial statement close process. Primary owner of all accounting or regulatory reporting. Ensures financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely, and analyzes and reviews financial statements for given area of responsibility.
