Promoting the positive branding and image of a company at all times and places, an event representative is responsible for attending events, campaigns, and conferences on behalf of their company. They are usually part of the sales or marketing department and knowledgeable about the range of products and services that the company offers.

An event representative holds many client-facing tasks, such as promoting the company to customers, explaining products or processes, and maintaining positive client and partner relations. Because of the nature of their job, they must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
