Qualifications Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, construction management, or similar degree. * 5-10 years related project controls work experience (Cost Specialist, Scheduler, or related experience) in Refining / Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, licensing technology, engineering, or capital projects. * Understanding of basic economic analysis as it pertains to project justification. * Knowledge of engineering drawings, and schematics * Ability to organize and prioritize daily work, including tracking and managing various estimates and managing multiple cost trackers for several projects that are in progress. * Must be able to successfully and simultaneously manage multiple tasks, and work with minimal direct supervision. * Must be familiar with unit rates, material and equipment pricing, labor pricing and other estimate components and techniques * Skilled in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, including but not limited to the ability to present ideas, proposals and results to business segment leaders and to internal and external customers * Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle JD Edwards E1, Oracle Cloud or SAP. * Experience using project management & cost management systems such as Planisware Enterprise, Hexagon EcoSys, Omega PIMs or AERES Prism. * Experience in cost and progress management. * Basic understanding of critical path method scheduling using Primavera P6 or MS Project. * Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. * Able to work effectively independently as well as part of a team. * Strong organizational and follow-up skills * Able to build and maintain strong and trusted working relationships with internal clients in the business units as well as with corporate function groups. * Occasional domestic and/or international travel. * Understanding of AACE estimating practices * A friendly and trustworthy individual who has strong credibility and strives for quality excellence, both inside and outside of LSB. * Fluent in English Preferred Qualifications * AACE certified * Estimating experience and design of chemical plant or refinery facilities. * Experience in the plant construction and maintenance field, especially with projects involving hydrostatic testing, piping systems, pressure vessels, and chemical plant facilities LSB Industries is an equal opportunity employer.
