The Estimator will work within the Estimating Department. This position will report directly to the Estimating Director and Senior Estimator. Restoration/Mitigation Estimator's Responsibilities include: * Support the Company mission, vision, and core values. * Respond to property insurance damage claims to prepare Xactimate/Symbility estimates. * Communicate with insurance adjusters and policyholders to establish a scope of work. * Negotiate restoration and mitigation services and insurance claim settlements. * Effectively promote the Company brand. * Maintain professional relationships with managed repair programs, insurance adjusters, and referral partners. Ideal Candidates for the Restoration/Mitigation Estimator Position will possess: * Proven damage restoration estimating skills using Xactimate software. * Strong communication and negotiation skills. * Working knowledge of residential construction. * Intermediate computer skills with estimating software and Microsoft programs. * Extensive Xactimate/Symbility estimating experience with a restoration company. * IICRC restoration and mitigation certifications. Restoration/Mitigation Estimator's Experience: * Property damage repair and restoration- 2 years (preferred). * Xactimate/Symbility estimating - 2 years (preferred). * Construction estimating- 2 years (preferred). * Construction project management- 2 years (preferred).
