Develops knowledge in buildings designs, systems and constructions materials through available resources. Accurately assess and plans takeoff workload. Acts as a plans coordinator by reviewing and working with Senior Estimating Coordinator to assure that project plans and specifications are current and complete. Participates in personal career development through on the job training, attends pre-construction/ operations classroom training programs, participates in software training, seminars and assists in the development and training of interns. Required Education Bachelor's degree in Building Construction is preferred. 5+ years of experience in estimating. Experience in Municipal Work, Higher Education, Healthcare, Public Schools, Assisted Living, Multifamily and Country Clubs as well as a variety of other markets. Ability to read engineering and architectural drawings and specifications. Strong Analytical skills. Ability to read and understand contracts.
