**Position Summary:** Executes graphics on an intermediate level using ESPN developed playout applications for event and studio productions. Maintains quality of ESPN's on-air product for daily/nightly studio and event productions.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Operates ESPN developed playout applications for live studio and event productions
+ Works independently on studio and event assignments
+ Enforces studio and event formats of ESPN's networks and its promo look
+ Ensures the accuracy and timely preparation of graphics on all productions
+ Able to effectively communicate across the organization to report technical problems. Must also be able to clearly articulate source of problems in defective equipment reports
+ Required to work flexible hours and days as production assignments dictate including weekends, nights and holidays
+ Reviews daily schedules and ensures prompt arrivals for assignments

**Qualifications:**
+ Able to perform at an intermediate level with functions of Windows-based playout applications
+ Two or more years of on-air graphics systems playout experience in a major market or at the network level

RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to ongoing maintenance and optimization of the National Public Media website with a specific focus on content marketing and SEO.
Handle day-to-day planning and operation of the chatbot function on the NPM website.
Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing regular updates and recommendations to the marketing team.

QUALIFICATIONS
1-2 years of work experience in marketing a media, publishing, entertainment or social media brand. Previous experience in B2B marketing and/or communications preferred.

Proficiency in social media management and familiarity with digital marketing tools, including Pardot, Salesforce, HTML, SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, Trello, Slack and Google Suite.

WORK LOCATION

COMPENSATION
Salary Range: The anticipated salary for this opportunity in the U.S. is $52,000- $54,000 plus benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salaries NPM expects to provide for new hires across all US locations.

An APC (Automated Production Control) Operator at NBC Connecticut is responsible for executing high quality, technical and error free newscasts in a dynamic and innovative newsroom. NBC & Telemundo Connecticut Internships provide students with real world experience and exposure to working in the television news industry. Internships at NBC & Telemundo Connecticut are paid and do not require course credit.
Pay rate is minimum wage.
NBC Connecticut is looking for a team player to work with our Meteorologists. As an intern with our Weather department, you will work side-by-side with our team to learn and contribute with the following:
Produce weather forecasts, segments, and stories
Produce weather and science content for a digital audience, both visual and written
Produce weather graphics and analyze data from the National Weather Service as well as other meteorological sources.
Work with the producers and news team to create complete coverage of weather. Also prepare and post forecasts for multiple platforms.
Use of social media daily and especially during severe events.
Attendance at community and weather-related events
Qualifications
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the length of the program and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
Pursuing a major in Meteorology
Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal
IN-PERSON Must be willing to work at the station in West Hartford, CT
