    A Concrete Pump Operator is responsible for the operation of a Concrete Pump in the safest manner possible. His/her safety along with the safety of others around him/her are the No. 1 priority. The operator's day starts at the yard where pumps are parked, from there, following a predetermined schedule, the operator will drive to and from jobsites, operate the pump, clean and grease it to maintain in good operation condition. Flexibility and excellent communication skills are paramount as schedules may adjust based on client's needs. It is expected that the Operator be a top representative of Wake Pumping and maintain a professional behavior. Qualifications & Responsibilities Valid CDL license, documents and drug free testing as required by law Operate and drive the pump truck in a safe and lawful manner Good communicator, available to take calls, read a calendar schedule and coordinate with dispatcher as needed Maintained a clean pump, washed and free of concrete and grease. Maintain pump system free of concrete Travel to various job sites, all in town, no out of town work. Home every night and no overnight pours Fill out appropriate job tickets and report to office.
