Job Description: The Equipment Operator II is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment, ensuring continued operation through interpretation of and response to machine faults, and line clearance needs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Perform start-up operation from power off/cold state; complete equipment and product paperwork, such as traceability and start-up checklist. Conduct Level I required preventive maintenance tasks. Participate in changeovers to include line clearance, system transactions, and associated documentation. Perform work order set ups in electronic batch record, data acquisition and inventory management systems. Pull test samples for QC in process inspection, remove completed production from machine and place in finished goods totes. Fill component Hoppers/Bowls as required to maintain production. Perform minor troubleshooting to diagnose machine performance issues; escalate to assigned Technician when required to ensure resolution. Perform line clearance activities and return equipment to proper operation. Update hourly production boards with production and efficiency numbers; note issues that prevented goal attainment (downtime, waste, quality, etc.) Submit machine repair tags to identify issues requiring support services. Ensure that product not meeting quality specifications is processed under non-conformance procedures/requirements. Maintain 5S standards in assigned work areas. Model company values and support strategic initiatives. Perform other related duties as assigned or required. This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).
