Automated Mechanical Services (AMS) is presently seeking to add to their field technician staff. We're seeking a Controls Technician with commercial HVAC service experience. About AMS AMS has been serving central Florida since 2002. Our primary market is to local air-conditioning contractors supporting them with HVAC Controls and other associated needs. Those needs may be controls service support, mechanical service support, control maintenance contracts and test & balance. We also have accounts in which we provide mechanical as well as controls services directly to the owner or property management firm. With these accounts, we typically limit our mechanical service to troubleshooting and minor repairs. Manufacture, assemble, and test New Glenn (GS1) First Stage Booster according to written procedures. Setup new production work areas, including tooling and equipment. Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles. The primary responsibility of this role is first-line troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electro/mechanical equipment associated with manufacturing, including manipulator arms, lead shielded hot cells, radiosynthesizers and cyclotrons and associated subsystems. The individual should be capable of independent decision-making abilities for most site and facility situations and will be called upon to trouble shoot non-routine manufacturing concerns.
