About the Role
Reports directly to the plant manager and is responsible for 8 direct reports.
As the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering, you will play a key leadership role in our manufacturing operations, overseeing process development, product enhancement, machine optimization, labor standards, and cost reduction initiatives. A medical device manufacturing client is looking to hire a new leader in their Equipment Reliability space onsite in Sumner, South Carolina. This person will be responsible for achieving high-level asset reliability while optimizing costs through the development and implementation of a site-wide reliability program. This role involves leading a team of equipment reliability engineers, controls and vision technicians, and machine designers, with oversight of the tool room. Responsibilities:
Implement reliability centered maintenance strategy, provide leadership and expertise to reliability team and beyond to ensure eradication of significant and repetitive breakdowns, achieve high reliability and lower cost.
Responsible for the site equipment classification evaluation and the definition of site maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods, aligning with maintenance budget and equipment classification.

Requirements
Bachelors in Engineering required; degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
10+ years of manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment required, preferably in the medical devices industry.

5+ years of proven experience in the application of reliability tools and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) preferred.

As the SVP of Engineering for our Provider vertical, you will shape the technical vision for the vertical while also partnering closely with Product and Operations executives to drive our company-wide Provider strategy. You will lead other leaders who set the technical vision for their teams developing products for our "Provider" set of customers. You will lead a large org that owns provider products, our manual manual retrivaldigital network, and data connectivity. Your north star will be the performance of our Provider business (Revenue, Gross Margin, EBITDA, etc.) and you'll establish technical objectives and key results to support those business outcomes (e.g. uptime, accuracy of request matching, open critical vulnerabilities, change failure rate, predictability of roadmap delivery, etc.) as appropriate to track progress. This role is key to driving some of the most important initiatives across the enterprise.
