    We are seeking an experienced Test Engineering Manager to join our team. This role involves refining system architecture for measurement and test systems, validating end-to-end system architecture design, and developing test implementation schedules to align with product release schedules. The successful candidate will be pivotal in the development and deployment of tester systems that conduct functionality testing for hearing aids, combining both new product development (R&D) and operations. Responsibilities + Refine system architecture for measurement and test systems. + Engage cross-functionally to validate end-to-end system architecture design. + Evaluate deadlines, goals, and develop test implementation schedules. + Articulate and weigh trade-offs in architecture and design based on cost, schedule, and technical requirements. + Motivate and collaborate across engineering and business disciplines to meet goals. + Incorporate design for test elements into new and updated designs. + Provide real-time data analysis dashboards and reporting services. + Develop, standardize, and document intra-department test procedures and DVT processes. + Automate test procedures where possible. + Collaborate with other departments to drive process and test procedure improvements. + Mentor, evaluate, resolve conflicts, and recognize staff to maintain a motivated team. + Maintain working relationships with key suppliers and communicate project requirements. + Leverage third-party suppliers, consultants, and partners to maximize team performance. + Multi-task competing priorities effectively. + Attend targeted conferences and trade shows. + Support corporate and department guidelines. + Check and verify quality, support corporate health and safety objectives, and handle other essential duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required. + Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science preferred. + 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on product development or test engineering. + 4+ years of recent management or supervisory experience. + Experience in the hearing aid or medical device industry preferred. + Expertise in IC, Board, Component, Sub-Assembly, Final Assembly, and System level testing. + Understanding of LabVIEW tools and NI tools. + Deep understanding of test infrastructure. + Knowledge of relevant product development and test methods (DFM, DFA, DFT, DOE, FMEA, etc.). + Knowledge of electro-acoustic components and systems. + Advanced knowledge of test equipment and systems (Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, etc.). + Advanced knowledge of test automation, database management, and report generation. + Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) test systems. + Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proven track record of on-time and on-quality performance. + Ability to operate strategically while understanding the implications of decisions. + Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills. + Adaptable and flexible to changing business environments. + Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. + Experience in capital budget management. Work Environment You will be working in an engineering test environment, focusing on the development and deployment of tester systems for hearing aids. This role involves collaboration between R&D and manufacturing. The work environment is high-tech, with a focus on new product development. The team consists of 5-8 very experienced engineers, and you will be their lead. The work environment is dynamic and supportive, encouraging innovation and collaboration. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
