Responsibilities: 1. Safety: Ā· Uphold and promote the highest safety standards, fostering a world-class safety culture. Ā· Collaborate with other teams to address safety risks/issues and take ownership of safety initiatives and projects. 2. Engineering & Facility Operations and Maintenance: Ā· Demonstrate operational expertise in electrical and mechanical equipment, including UPS's, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, ATS's, Diesel Generators, Chillers, HVAC, Exhaust Fans, VFD's, and Transformers. Ā· Troubleshoot events within internal SLAs and work varying shifts (morning, late, and night). Ā· Conduct routine rounds/log-taking for operational readings of mechanical and electrical equipment. Ā· Supervise contractors performing servicing or preventive maintenance. Ā· Respond to off-duty emergency calls on an on-call rotation basis. Ā· Lift/move objects/materials within regulatory weight limits and work in outdoor weather conditions occasionally. Basic Qualifications: Ā· Completed apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician/Electrician or equivalent recognized training. Ā· Very good command of English (CEFR B2). Ā· Proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Word) and web-based operational tools. Ā· Proficient with Change Management Systems (CMS) and Ticket Systems. Ā· 2+ years of job-related experience. Preferred Qualifications: Ā· 2+ years of Data Center engineering experience. Ā· 3+ years of job-related experience. Ā· Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline. Ā· Familiarity with Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) control systems and data collection/trending. Ā· Highly proficient in written and spoken English (CEFR C1). Ā· Very good command of German (CEFR B2). Shift Details: Ā· Shifts are 12.5 hours long (5:30 AM/PM - 6:30 AM/PM) Ā· Days are 3 on, 4 off, 4 on 3 off. For example, you could work Sunday - Tuesday, be off Wednesday - Saturday, and then work Sunday - Wednesday, be off Thursday - Saturday. Ā· Both day and night shifts are available.
