Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Create, adjust, and organize technical documents to assist a respective mentor * Consolidate and streamline information regarding engineering documents to assist maintenance crew on the floor * Gather and condense information through company databases to deliver to the engineering/maintenance department * Analyze aircraft change requests for economic viability and fleet convenience * Brainstorm ways to improve operations within the engineering department, improve operations between other departments and increase efficiency between Headquarters and crews at Republic Airways bases. * Create, update, or review engineering documents as assigned * Attend meetings and vendor functions * Assist in duties, projects, and presentations as assigned EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE * Pursuing a bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Aeronautical Engineering Technology (AET) or related. * Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale * Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group * Strong analytical skill * Pursuing Airframe and Powerplant Certification. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS * Ability to work onsite at our Indianapolis Headquarters location, unless otherwise directed by hiring manager * Ability to work up to 40 hours per week with a minimum of 20 hours for spring and fall interns * Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
