Duties include: Work with NUWC Engineers to establish standards, practices, and procedures for integrating, testing and evaluating missile weapons systems onboard Navy Submarines Evaluate system capabilities, architectures, design concepts, requirements, risks and opportunities, and processes for integration, test, evaluation and transition impacts Design, develop, and implement test and evaluation strategies, plans and methods to assure reliability of systems in conjunction with system specifications and defined capabilities Develop and interpret requirements, drawings, data sets, reports, and specifications. Interface with other members of project teams to define and implement engineering solutions to meet systems mission objectives. Help resolve programmatic and technical problems that would affect cost, schedule, and performance. Develop, document and maintain processes, methods, and tools. Participate in reviews of systems under development to ensure requirements compliance through verification and validation. Requirements Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Related Field 5 - 7 years of systems engineering experience to include the knowledge in system development and analyses systems and tools. The individual should be goal-oriented and have a strong work ethic. The ability to multi-task and work in a team environment is essential. The ability to develop solutions to complex technical problems. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Submarine system or sub-system engineering and test experience is a plus.
