Compensation Disclosure The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. They will schedule, plan, forecast, resource, and manage all technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. What You'll Do Project Planning: Thoroughly analyze and interpret construction drawings, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of project requirements. Assist in reviewing plans and specifications, generating a detailed checklist highlighting contractual features requiring ongoing attention. Collaborate with the project team to provide input on cost estimates and project scheduling, contributing to effective project planning. Project Progress: Prepare detailed statements of work, submittals, and change management documents, fostering transparent communication within the project team. Conduct rigorous inspection of equipment, materials, workmanship, and completed construction to ensure adherence to specified standards. Maintain meticulous records to track project progress, changes, and compliance, facilitating accurate reporting. Safety Management: Champion a culture of safety in construction operations, actively promoting and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices. Monitor ongoing work to verify adherence to safety procedures, ensuring that materials and methods align with required specifications. Industry Networking: Act as a brand ambassador for the company, promoting its values and expertise in the electrical contracting sector. Demonstrate the highest level of integrity and ethics with internal and external stakeholders. Cultivate and expand industry connections, establishing the company as a reputable and reliable player in the electrical contracting domain. What You'll Bring Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong ability to complete due diligence and risk assessment. Impeccable integrity and ethics with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills - the ability to articulate a message, be persuasive, and explain complex information to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge. Willingness to travel to various construction sites on a frequent basis. Demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas: Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, BlueBeam, and Accubid. Proven ability to read blueprints and drawings. Understanding of electrical construction in a large-scale commercial environment Build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to stay informed of market trends. Thorough understanding of safety standards in electrical construction. Education & Experience: 1+ year of general construction experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, related degree, or equivalent combination of skills and training, preferred What You'll Get Working Conditions: The majority of the time you will work on construction job sites. When on construction job sites you will encounter typical construction conditions including extreme temperatures, noise, dust, mud debris, welding, leading edge, trenching, and shoring, sometimes in a confined space. You may be required to visit multiple locations during any one day. Benefits Overview: IME provides an industry-leading comprehensive benefits package. Full-time employees are eligible to choose from a variety of healthcare coverage options, which become effective the first of the month after hire.
