This is a great opportunity to work new designs and integration of stealth materials and technologies as part of an integrated product team. Teamwork: Candidates must be able to positively interact with a wide range of personnel in design, fabrication, and testing of prototypes and aircraft parts and systems, including suppliers

A Design Application Engineering position is dedicated to bidding and presale design of custom HVAC systems while managing day-to-day activities and securing orders with satisfactory margins. This will include (but not limited to) * Working individual requests for quotes to provide an optimal and satisfactory solution for the customer that also satisfies margin goals for the Company.
* Properly recording pertinent information regarding accounts and projects obtained by the process of working projects and developing relationships within territories into our CRM system.
* Working with Market Development Managers to secure a stronger company position within dually assigned market territories for the purpose of securing immediate and future sales.
* Executing clean project handoff to post sale team of successfully closed orders.

FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

* Maintain CRM for quote activity/revision level/close dates/partners/etc.
* Provide any received vendor cost updates to Application Engineering and Product Manager for update in Johnson Estimating Program.
* Process purchase order upon receipt.
* Initiate hand off meeting with assigned Application Engineer.
* Assist with maintaining sales template drawings.
* Assist with execution of annual engineering goals for this division.
* Review personally assigned goals with Manager.
* Desire and ability to work in a Team Environment. Cross training in other areas of the company is essential to Johnson's success and individual growth.
* Assist Application Engineering in PEER review of submittal to confirm items submitted as agreed in "selling" process.
