Job Purpose
To develop and guarantee the correct powertrain hardware package required to meet all developmental, marketability, and regulatory targets. To actively manage test and development schedules and data input from multiple departments and divisions across HDMA.
Key Accountabilities
Strategy: Gather the latest global hardware specs from 4MOC / ADC and compile a comprehensive plan for application to future, responsible development models.
Advise: Work directly with all powertrain related function groups to guarantee harmonious hardware maturation schedules and lead critical meetings to resolve conflicts between competing groups / departments
Problem Solving: Support investigation of hardware / calibration issues that come up during development and develop corrective hardware plans as necessary
Communication: Clearly and concisely report the status of hardware / calibration maturation to both function management side as well as team side
Authorize: Lead regular test data review meetings and MaruQ preparation events to validate the hardware and calibrations that are being applied to a development.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Job Purpose
Through Software and Calibration, the Systems & Drivability Engineer will support testing that contributes to the integration of the full powertrain meet Honda, consumer, and regulatory requirements.
Key Accountabilities
Schedule planning, management, & reporting: Based on assignments provided from direct supervisor, propose a completion plan and review it to ensure expectations and priority are properly understood. Plan daily work to achieve objectives, notifying direct supervisor in advance of risks to meet the deadline.
Learn test process: Consult with direct supervisor to understand the scope and direction for testing / calibration assignments. Follow direct supervisor's advice on what to investigate and/or confirm. Complete all testing as instructed. Complete all required training for in-house software, calibration hardware, and vehicle / facility safety.
System functionality interdependencies: Consult with direct supervisor or group experts to learn how to estimate potential impacts of design changes and calibration updates.
Change point verification: Work with direct supervisor to learn the overall process and the specific role of the Test Engineer. Consult with group experts to determine the starting point, what should be verified and how it should be verified for assigned part based on the vehicle change points.
Internal Collaboration: Communicate with your direct supervisor at the appropriate frequency to avoid becoming stuck or to avoid excessive rework due to too much time spent working toward the wrong direction. Communicate the status of assignments in the weekly group meeting. Share concerns with direct supervisor in monthly check in meetings.
Document Creation, Reporting & Follow up: Under close guidance of direct supervisor, create documentation for assigned parts, report in evaluation events, and respond to any follow up items per requested deadline.

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Manufacturing Engineer primary responsibilities include the ability to create, develop, manufacture, and/or refine fiber reinforced thermoplastic and thermoset products that will meet the needs of current customers while expanding our reach into diverse markets and new client bases. Employees work in a fast paced, hands-on environment and will perform process related work which will include: process design, machine design, machine installation, equipment trouble shooting, etc. Other related duties would include: vendor communication, generating requests for proposals, managing contractors, soliciting quotes, travel to vendor sites, continuous improvement projects.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
include the following
:
Support manufacturing team on the production floor as well as other departments to accomplish stated objectives
Upgrade existing equipment for improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency
Troubleshoot any equipment issues and ensure timely corrective actions are carried out.
Conduct analysis to further equipment optimization
Assist in New Process development which includes automation design, 3D modeling, electrical controls development and equipment installation.
Generate documentation as needed including work instructions, SOPs, and control plans in addition to making appropriate changes to other documentation as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
1-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting
BSME (Mechanical) or BSEE (Electrical)
CAD - solid model experience, preferably using SolidWorks
Willingness to manage multiple projects.
Excellent Time Management skills with an ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Self-motivated, innovative, creative, and resourceful.
Ergonomic Requirements:
Ability to Stand for Long Periods of Time
Ability to Push, Pull, Lift, and/or Carry up to 25 lbs.
