Role Summary:
In this critical role the Equipment Engineer will work together with the Process Engineers, Yield/Integration Engineers, and Equipment Technicians to optimize and maintain production lines, and support safety, efficiency, and quality goals set by the company by way of continuous improvement.

Job Description
ProSidian Seeks a Startup Test Engineer - Engineering (DA109) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRR]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.
DUTIES
Provide startup/test engineering services on assigned SRR Project Teams. Support services include design review, analysis, walkdowns, test procedure development and test procedure performance of project modifications. Startup/test engineering services will be provided using SRR processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRR.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Test Engineering support for day-to-day activities within all SRR facilities (i.e. Defense Waste Processing Facility (DWPF), Saltstone (SS), H Tank Farm (HTF), F Tank Farm (FTF) and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) in the following areas:
- Support Project Planning
- Support detailed phases of testing for a project, including input to design and construction for facility safety, testability, operability and maintainability.
- Develop, review and status project schedules as required for testing activities.
- Support Engineering to determine the requirement of Test Acceptance Criteria (TAC), General Test Data (GTD) and Baseline Operating Data (BOD) criteria in the development of the Test Specification Plan (TSP) for the system/modification to be tested.
- Develop test procedures, to ensure safe operations for the component/system being tested, providing auditable documentation of the test and to meet the criteria of the (TSP).
- Coordinate testing activities between Engineering, Construction, Maintenance, QA, RCO, IH and Operations.
- Perform testing in accordance with approved procedures.
- Conduct Pre-Test and Shift briefings.
- Develop test summary documents (TSD).
- Maintain certification as a level II or III Test Engineer as required.
- Support Vendor testing and associated activities.
- Assist in preparation of operation or maintenance manuals.
- Conduct assessments as required per SCD-4 "FA-16 Testing", the Standards Requirements.
- Support the completion of MSAs, FSAs and RAs for project work.
- Support internal and external audits or assessments as requested.

Qualifications
Education:
HS Diploma with 10-15 years of specific experience in startup testing; OR an AA degree and 8-10 years of experience in startup testing; OR a BS degree and 5-7 years of related work experience in startup testing.
Experience/Skills:
Candidate must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years startup/test engineering experience in the nuclear or commercial industry. Candidate must demonstrate capability to maintain certification as a level II test engineer. Candidate must have the ability to walk down and perform tests on systems in the field.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As our Manufacturing Engineer you will coordinate and provide second-level support to the production value streams and new product introduction. Support in continuous improvement activities, driving best practices, and innovation initiatives. This role is critical in providing support to the Value Stream.
* Provide engineering support to production while solving design/process issues
* Execute actions to improve the overall production and efficiency of the site

Nuclear Engineer - Engineering (DA109) Candidates shall work to support requirements for TBC (Engineering Services) and statement of work (SOW) while maintaining required qualifications Nuclear & Environmental Management Sector. ProSidian Team Members (# FTe's: 1) work as part of the Nuclear Engineer Engagement Team Cadre to serve as a Nuclear Engineer responsible for performing a variety of Nuclear Engineering assignments, including design, manufacture, test, installation, operation, and maintenance of diverse process equipment and systems, and generally as a member of a design, construction, operations, or review team on more complex assignments or as a lead on less complex assignments.
