The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in new product development. Principal Activities
:
You will:
Lead the design and development of new valve and flow control products from concept to production.
Collaborate with senior engineering leadership and the product management to align product development with market needs and company strategy.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses for new product designs.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory testing requirements, including API, ASME, and other industry standards as required by the targeted industries and sectors.
Oversee the prototyping, testing, and validation of new products to ensure they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal resources to evaluate and select materials that will optimize performance and cost efficiencies.
Manage the transition of new products from development to production creating documentation supporting that transition.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in both traditional and green energy technologies along with CO2 emissions reduction to inform product development strategies.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
Support structured mentorship programs designed to develop junior engineers and facilitate technical knowledge transfer.
Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient use of NPD resources.
