A minimum of 5 years of experience in materials, corrosion, inspection, and integrity engineering.
Proven expertise in managing and executing integrity programs in the energy sector, particularly in pipeline environments.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification or the ability to obtain it within one year.
Experience in consulting engineering or seconded roles within the energy industry.

Purpose:
You will provide engineering support for the design of substation facilities for voltages up to and including 765 kV for Worley and its Customers as an integral part of the Power Networks team. This includes new substations and switchyards, modifications, additions and upgrades to existing facilities.
Responsibilities:
Independently perform tasks that typically include:
* Substation physical design including overall engineering and analysis for new switchyards and substations, additions and modifications
* Preparation of specifications and provide procurement support
* Preparation of engineering drawings including layout and general arrangements for all major equipment and structures required for high voltage switchyards or substation. Drawings include site plans, plan and elevation views, grounding, conduit, lighting, lightning protection and shielding, control building arrangements and details, AC station service, DC systems and Bills of Material.
* Perform auxiliary electrical power system studies including load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, protection and coordination, ampacity, and battery sizing studies.
* Perform substation grounding calculations and studies, lightning protection and insulation coordination, lighting, bus calculations, transformer and bus sizing calculations, fault calculations, and AC and DC auxiliary system sizing calculations.
* Perform proposal preparation, proposal estimates, and provide input to scope documents and client presentations

Responsibilities
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC
Client relations including virtual or applicable in person meetings with existing and new clients
Design of transportation infrastructure projects including roadways, bridges and trails
Preparation of details, specifications, and bidding documents
Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects
Review and respond to proposals for projects with assistance from MSA team members
Assist with mentoring junior staff
Construction management and inspection experience a plus
Working knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation and 3D design based associated platform on highway improvement projects
Public meeting presentation displays and public engagement
Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of mobility/transportation engineering experience is required
PE license required (MN PE preferred)

This Co-op position will be onsite in Duluth, MN January 2025 - August 2025. This position can be full-time or part-time in the Spring semester/full-time in the Summer.

Job Duties:
This Manufacturing/Process Engineering Co-op is responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes and tooling designs. In this role, you will be involved in any or all of the following assignments: process development, documentation and implementation; production time studies and continuous improvement; production flow and shop floor layout; and, tooling design using CAD (Creo).
Work directly with Manufacturing Engineering, Production Personnel, Purchasing, Experimental, and more to complete new tool designs, continuous improvement tooling modifications, and detail manufacturing processes.
Create and revise solid models and detailed drawings of complex components and assemblies using Creo Parametric.
Manage, promote and release manufacturing data using Windchill PDMLink.
Follow all safety standards and policies and ensure a safe operating environment, including use of appropriate protective equipment and identification of potential safety concerns.
Qualifications:
Current student pursuing a relevant degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
Self-motivated; able to work with minimal supervision
Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization
Handle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Production and Processing: Ability to accurately follow and document a sequence of manufacturing steps.
Mechanical: General knowledge of common tools and their purpose.
