    Perform manufacturing engineering assignments associated with the integrity of product design to assure quality and cost-effective production Advise engineering of existing production capabilities, equipment, facilities, and standard practices to contribute to the development of designs Coordinate with support groups to ensure capabilities and capacities are developed to support new products Ensure efficient manufacturing through achieving quality, cost, operating specifications, customer and company standards, and requirements Apply Lean manufacturing principles to improve production processes and achieve cost reduction Plan, define, and implement new manufacturing systems as needed for new product introductions Responsible for managing and implementing projects of varying complexity and scope Ensure integrity of existing manufacturing documents and take ownership of creating new manufacturing documentation REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university preferred 2+ years of related experience Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (5S, SW, PSP, SMED, VRK, OEE, TPM, etc.) a plus Proven problem solving aptitude using various tools and techniques Leadership experience within a team, project, or job NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work and delivering results Comfortable working problems of moderate scope where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors SolidWorks and/or Pro Engineer (ProE) experience a plus Demonstrated ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings required Experience working in a metric/goal-driven environment Hands-on approach/experience with manufacturing processes preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills; effectively able to present information and respond to feedback at any level within the global organization
