We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Advanced Project Engineer to join our Giga Factory Global Solution Centre engineering team within our projects group to deliver Honeywell's Battery Manufacturing projects.
You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Program Manager, and you'll work out of our Fort Washington, PA location on a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
• Be technically responsible for delivering external customer and NPI projects reporting into the Honeywell project manager.
• Ensure that the project technical requirements and solutions are fully defined, agreed and implemented.
• Ensure that required design prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule etc.) are in place.
• Ensure that the engineered solution meets project requirements in terms of functionality, applicable standards and quality.
• Monitor and report on your own assigned against the project plan, ensure effective change control and identify risks / opportunities.
• Ensure that work assignments and sub-contracted work scopes are executed to appropriate technical requirements, standards and quality systems.
• Support regional engineering and operation teams for best practices with respect to project design and engineering processes.
• Provide consultative support to sales and estimating groups, regional operations teams and procurement for strategic order wins
• Provide VOC input to the continued development of solutions, standardization of execution and the selection of 3rd party suppliers.

YOU MUST HAVE
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in the sciences including engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or mathematics
• 5+ years of engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience in the design and implementation of automation systems in large scale manufacturing facilities in the re-chargeable battery markets.
• 2+ years of experience in technically leading electrical distribution engineering projects dealing directly with customers, 3rd parties and EPC's through full project design life cycles.
