Verify installation of fiber optic cables, splice enclosures, cabinets, handholes, and pedestals per project specifications. HCPs work administratively under the Regional Program Manager and Regional Deputy Program Manager while performing healthcare services under the medical direction of the National Medical Director and Physician Supervisors who collaborate with CBP's Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO). Healthcare is delivered in accordance with approved medical protocols and in compliance with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) directives. Vighter's HCPs work alongside uniformed CBP Agents/Officers at numerous locations near the border in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, and Florida. Services may be provided in a field setting with minimal facilities, a soft-sided (tent-type) facility, or a secure detention facility, such as a US Border Patrol Station. Restocks supplies as needed, assists with maintaining inventory, maintains equipment in proper working order, to include any manufacturer recommended preventative maintenance. Duty Hours / On-call Requirements: The CBP mission runs 24/7/365 to protect our country and as such shift schedules for HCPs include: day, night, weekday, weekend, and holidays. Work will be conducted throughout the state and the candidate must be willing to travel to any worksite in the state based solely on the needs of the company.
