Job Description
As an operating room tech (ORT), you'll help with surgical operations before, during and/or after the procedure. Working in the operating room of a hospital or outpatient surgery center, you may have duties that include prepping the OR, surgical tools, and equipment, helping nurses and surgeons scrub in, keeping up with equipment during surgery, maintaining sterile conditions, assisting with tools during surgery, cleaning the OR after surgery, and transporting patients to and from surgery. You'll play a critical role in preventing illness, providing moral support, promoting health and wellness, and educating patients and families.

26-bed unit with five additional patient rooms dedicated to the behavioral health patient. You will work with patients across the lifespan and in various conditions. The team is multidisciplinary, and includes physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, paramedics, EMTs, SNTs and patient care techs.
Responsibilities:
Assesses the needs of patients and families, providing appropriate teaching and making the necessary referrals to provide continuity of care.
Develops an individual plan of care using a collaborative approach with the patient/family and health care team.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities:
* Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure that medications are given out according to the Physician's orders.
* Understand and follow the "Six rights of medication administration" and all of Bickford's policies and procedures regarding medication management.
